Let me tell you, this Avon Senses Silky Vanilla Body Spray is too yummy. It is not heavy or overpowering in any way. When I first tried it, it reminded me of vanilla extract – I got a hint of liqueur – that definitely must be the brown sugar. It just smells so delicious. It stays softly upon the skin, giving you a nice hint of delish. I cannot wait to spray it on after my bath/shower. It makes me feel so pretty, pampered, and happy.

And of course in my Avon Beauty Caddy, I do have some fabulous Avon makeup items. I’m really enjoying wearing everything. The colors are all very pretty and stay very nicely. Which, Avon’s makeup line is named Avon True Color, and they are correct!

Firstly is the Avon True Color Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Quad in Romantic Mauves. These mauve tones are perfect for my eye color which is dark brown. Next is the Avon True Color Nourishing Lipstick in Delicate Date. I’m really loving this lip color. I love the Nourishing Lipstick because it’s just that – it’s nourishing and moisturizing. Feels good wearing it too. Not drying at all and not sticky. Next featured is the Avon True Color Flawless Cream to Powder Foundation. Where would you be without a great foundation? And this one does not disappoint. As you can see, it comes with its own applicator sponge which is very handy. It stores right in the bottom of the compact. The foundation glides on very easily and sets very well. Very nice coverage without looking cakey in the least. It stays on great. I just wore all my Avon makeup to an outdoor party, and the weather was humid and a bit drizzly. True Gent Men’s Fragrance Set from Avon

Hold up! Stop the presses! There’s a new star in town!

Introducing a brand new men’s fragrance from Avon, just on the scent scene, called True Gent.

And let me tell you…. this smells FABULOUS!!! It smells quite expensive too. My first reaction was that it reminded me of a Chanel Coco for men. It has a “I want to sniff your neck” kind of effect. It is not harsh on the nose at all – and I was, along with being a candle maker for many years, also a perfumer, and blended many signature aromas for both candles and fragrances, so I was completely blown away by the delicate blending of the ingredients listed in this formula. That’s what caught my attention right away, was the list of scents that went into the making of True Gent.

The list includes: Laurel Leaf, Bergamot, Tonka Bean, Creamy Musk, Smooth Tobacco, and Vanilla Suede. What a combo! What a scent! It’s hard for me to put it in words… But every note, from the beginning, to middle, to end, is just wonderful. It ends on a very soft and smooth note, which I pick up at the very beginning as well, I believe this must be the Vanilla Suede – it’s both soft and masculine. Avon describes True Gent as “a masculine scent that is sensitive yet strong.” I totally agree.

The picture above is the set I purchased for my Husband as an anniversary gift. We both really love this fragrance. I purchased the set from Campaign 11, which was last campaign and I got this 3 piece set for $24.00 with a coupon code.
