Hey Gang! I hope you’re doing fabulous!

So — how much do you love makeup? I know I love it! And I am really enjoying all my Avon goodies, so I thought I’d share all the wonderful products I’ve been using, with you.

We all know that one of the most important elements of our overall look is the base, or foundation, and I am so in love with the finish I get using the Avon True Color Flawless Cream-to-Powder Foundation. It comes in a really nice compact with mirror, and has it’s very own application sponge in the underside of the compact – so convenient. I am so happy with the way the foundation goes on and how it makes my face look. As a very young 54 year old I need a foundation that makes me look fresh and not overdone, but still has a great coverage, but not cakey and not enhancing any little fine lines, and I get all that with this product. I was using a similar product prior and it was a bit more heavy and did tend to increase fine lines, but Avon’s Cream-to-Powder is much lighter and is not cakey. It goes on very smoothly and is easy to blend – especially with the handy applicator. It’s just fabulous! I feel fresh and youthful. The shade I’m using is Creamy Natural # 593-340. Next up is the Avon True Color Luminous Blush in Rose Luster. This blush goes on great and it gives my cheeks great color without being too much. A nice fresh rosy look for me I thinks. And it stays on fabulously. The blush also comes in a very nice compact with mirror. It has an applicator brush and is on sale now too for $7.99, original price $11.00. And my newest Avon eyeshadow Quad! I love this palette! It’s called Purple Haze. I just received this a couple of days ago. In my pic you can see that it looks like I’m using eyeliner, but I actually used the dark gray in this palette to line my eyes. Works like a charm! All the colors in this are so pretty. I love the violet purple, it goes well with my dark brown eyes. This can be found on page 14 of Campaign 14’s brochure and all the Quads are $8.00 right now. But wait! Let’s talk lashes, and Love at First Lash, my new very very favorite mascara. It’s awesome — it’s fantastic! Not clumpy or goopy, just great volume. I’ve talked about this mascara before and I’ll probably keep on singing it’s praises. It’s everything I could ever want in a mascara and it’s easy to remove. I love that too. And now for the lip look! I wanted a bit of a contrast in color – still going with the purple, but a slight different tone for a great pop of color. I used 3 products for this look. I like layering on the lip, so that there is a good base and depth of color. Firstly I began with Avon’s True Color Glimmersticks liner for the lips in one of their newest shades, Pomegranate (#608-680). You should check out their new Electric Plum shade too (#607-698) — I think I’m going to get that one next – it’s super gorg!

Then I used the True Color Nourishing Lipstick in Delicate Date (#642-240). This is also a new shade and is a nice plum tone. I sometimes wear just the liner and the lipstick, but for a night out, I also added my new Lip Glow Lip Gloss in Lit – Yay!

All the lip products have specials going on right now. How cool is that? The Nourishing Lipsticks are 2 for $10.00, regularly $8.00 each, and this lipstick is so awesome. Great color and makes my lips feel moisturized and great.
