It’s all so exciting! And it smells really really pretty! This perfume is fresh and vibrant and it’s also easy on the nose. I am very sensitive to aromas, and I am able to wear this perfume very easily. It also smells quite expensive, as it should, being designed and created by noted perfumers from the prestigious fragrance house Firmenich in Switzerland.

I love trying different colors, although my default setting is usually plums (like my lipstick choices), but I do enjoy a pop of blue, so I decided to get the Avon True Color Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Quad in Steel Blues and give it a try.
I really like this palette. The tones go really well with my dark brown eyes. Number 1 is a nice Cream color, very neutral, so a great coverage right under the brow area. Number 2 is a really pretty silvery blue’ish gray. It’s a shimmery look. Number 3 is a medium gray, and Number 4 is a dark navy blue color.

TO USE
• Lightest shade (1) goes on the brow bone
• Accent shade (2) goes in the inner corner
• Medium shade (3) goes in the outer corner
• Darkest shade (4) goes on the lash lines

And here I am wearing my Steel Blues Eyeshadow. I used the Number 4 dark navy color as an eyeliner. One side of the applicator has a pointy tip, so it’s very easy to line with. I do also wear eyeliners, but this color has a great stand-out pop of color on its own, as you can see. I used the Number 1 cream color right under my brow, and actually all the way down to my lid, then the Number 2 silvery shimmer color in my mid-eye area and the Number 4 navy to line and also bring out the edges of my eye lid area and then blended upward with the silvery color. I didn’t use the Number 3 gray color with this look, but I’ll most likely use it when I go for a more plum-type palette. Since I was wearing black and white, I wanted to stick with the navy and silvery tones.
It’s fun to mix and match between the Avon Eyeshadow palettes. Sometimes I stay within one color palette, and sometimes I mix in between several. It just depends on the colors I’m wearing and my mood. How about you?

I thought I’d give the new Anew Neutralize Anti-Pollution Charcoal Mask a try-out last night. My skin has been feeling a bit irritated as of late, and when I read that this mask is very soothing to irritated skin, I knew this was for me. This is so awesome, it’s a mask in a stick. It’s formulated with charcoal and kaolin clay. It glides on so smoothly and easily. No need to dampen your skin. Just begin with a clean dry face, then smooth this on wherever you think you need it. This is very cooling going on – it’s really nice. And also a lot of fun!
You just simply let it sit for about 10 minutes and then you’re ready to rinse. I used a soft wash cloth to take it off. It was a white cloth, but not to worry, it all washed out with soap and water. My skin felt sooooo good afterward. So cool and refreshed. I was truly amazed. My skin felt revitalized. It’s like a mini spa treatment. The charcoal and kaolin clay absorb toxins, oil and impurities.

And now I am feeling awesome and ready to head out for my date night with Hunky Hubby. And of course I am wearing all my favorite Avon makeup products.
For my foundation I absolutely love Avon’s Flawless Cream-To-Powder Foundation. My shade of choice is Creamy Natural. I need to order more actually, and it’s on special right now for $9.99 (regular price $14.00). It comes in a nice mirrored compact and has it’s own applicator sponge.
I also love using Avon’s Flawless Mattifying Powder. It is lighter than the powders I used to use, so it gives me a more youthful finish – Not too heavy and powdery.
And you cannot go wrong with Avon’s True Color Luminous Blush. The color I’m wearing is Rose Luster. This also comes in a nice mirrored compact, as does the Mattifying Powder. And these products are both on special right now too.
And I just got a new Eyeshadow palette called Steel Blues. I really love it. You can see I’ve also used it for my eyeliner. The applicator is great and has an end that you can use for lining. I finished my eye look with my very favorite Mascara – Love at First Lash! This mascara is terrific. It is formulated with Vitamins A, C and E to condition your lashes, plus olive oil and lycopene to strengthen lashes. And it goes on great. 2 applications and my lashes are looking stand-out great! Easy to wash off too – I love that.
Then for my lips — I lined and filled in with my favorite Pomegranate Glimmersticks Lip Liner and then tried a new True Color Nourishing Lipstick Sample I have called Candy Red. I usually go for Plums, but I really like this Red. I think I can wear this one very well. That’s why I love Avon’s Lipstick Samples so much – I can try colors I may not usually try in full size.
And that’s it! From a revitalizing charcoal mask to a finished makeup look, quick, easy, and fun, all thanks to the fabulousness of Avon. Then out the door for a fun night out with my sweet Coyote Willie. I enjoyed my favorite bacon burger, Willie had chicken fajitas, and we both enjoyed a cold beer – Hooray!

Hello Friends and Customers! Well, I should say that I consider all my customers as my friends. So therefore I am always truly happy when you are happy.
Yesterday I received a wonderful email from one of my friends, Beth. Now, Beth has been a friend for quite a while now. We were Etsy buddies and Etsy teammates for several years. She creates the most beautiful greeting cards, custom made too. Her company name is Pretty Bird Designs. I have several very sentimental keepsakes made by her. The latest news I received was about Avon’s new Perks for Representatives. It is so fabulous. There are special savings on just about everything under the sun. There’s so much to take in. We used to have what was called Avon Advantage. Well, now in our back offices, we can click on Avon Advantage and it takes us to a whole new world of Avon Perks. There are discounts on travel, tickets, entertainment, electronics, automotive (Reps even get a discount on purchasing a new vehicle – like over $3,000.00 off sticker price – Woo!), cell phones, apparel, health and wellness, food, and local discounts.

These are made with non-transfer ink and it removes easily with soap and water. Not to be used on your face though. I cannot wait to see how creative everyone gets with these.
