As much as I love talking about pretty lipsticks and all things glam, sometimes it’s great to get down to the basics of beauty, and not just talk about beautifying your already gorgeous face, but the rest of you too.
I wanted to share 3 of my favorite Avon go-to’s when it comes to beautifying creams for the body.
I’ll begin with my favorite hand lotion, Avon’s Moisture Therapy Calming Relief Hand Cream.
This hand cream is formulated for dry, itchy skin. It’s made with pure oatmeal to calm itchy skin. It’s great for sensitive skin, which I have, and it is fragrance free. I absolutely love that. I am a constant hand-washer, I will admit, so therefore my hands do tend to get red and dry. I use this lotion now quite a bit. It’s formulated to provide 8 hours of moisturization (If I could keep from washing my hands that long!), but it really does soothe my skin. It is easy to apply as it absorbs into the skin quickly with no greasy residue. And it is very calming. One day a little mosquito decided to have lunch while I was here typing, so I went right for my hand cream, and it did help. For everyday use, it quickly eases my dry skin and my hands always feel much better after applying. The Moisture Therapy Lotion is listed for $6.00, but there is a special right now. Okay — next up — Let’s talk feet!
To find the foot creams, you’ll follow the same route as I described above, but this time choose Bath & Shower from the Bath & Body Category, and choose Foot Care, (which I have the link for you here already). My Avon Foot Works product of choice is the Deep Moisturizing Cream. My husband and I both enjoy using this lotion. It keeps our feet soft, it rubs in very easily, and leaves no greasy residue, so no slipping around in your slippers. I love using this and do so every evening after my bath or shower. Really helps ease those dry heels too. If you have really dry heels you may want to try Avon’s Maximum Strength Cracked Heel Cream or their Overnight Renewing Cream. They have a cream for Calluses, and even an Arthritis Achy Foot Cream, so be sure to check out all the different types of Foot Works creams to find what will work best for you to help keep your feetsies looking and feeling beautiful. For me, when my feet feel good, I feel good.
And the next body beautiful cream I wanted to talk to you about is a brand new one, and it’s a luxurious souffle! O-M-G!
This is a brand new addition to Avon’s Skin So Soft Line. It’s part of the Coconut Oil Collection, just introduced now in Campaign 20. This is called Skin So Soft Supreme Nourishment Enriching Coconut Oil Body Souffle. I hope you can see how rich and creamy this souffle is. It reminds me of marshmallow fluff, but of course not as thick or gooey. It is soooooo dreamy……. And it smells sooooo good……. This one is perfumed, lightly, is a complete luxury to apply, and leaves my skin feeling very very good. The aroma is beautiful — creamy, slight vanilla note, slight coconut note, and a hint of some type of delicate perfume. It’s very light and very pleasant. Avon describes it as a light tropical scent. I can agree with that quite nicely. I like to spray on my Avon Senses Vanilla Body Spray after applying this souffle – Oh boy!
I feel really pampered. My skin feels so soft (hardy, har, har… No pun intended there), I smell really good (and yummy – You won’t believe the delicious vanilla aroma in this body spray. I’m serious, it smells just like really rich vanilla.), my feet are feeling good, I am ready to relax for the evening.
