How To Achieve Complexion Perfection

Avon x The Face Shop Toneup Primers

Greetings all, and happy introductions to the new Avon x The Face Shop collaboration of curated Korean Beauty Products.

I thought I’d begin introductions with the new Tone Up Primers plus the new Ink Lasting Foundations’ (there are 2 new foundation types) various combinations designed to help you achieve complexion perfection.

Here is Avon’s description of their new line of Tone Up Primers:

AVON x THE FACE SHOP
Our exclusive collaboration with The Face Shop brings you super-luxurious Korean beauty products that are influencing the world.

WHAT EXACTLY IS A PRIMER?
Consider primers your makeup pre-game. They turn your skin into a silky-smooth canvas, keeping makeup in place all day.

There are different kinds of primers for different purposes. They can help to smooth the skin by blurring out fine lines, pores, uneven skin tone and textures, as well as improving foundation wear time.

Whatever your skin needs, we’ve got a primer for that. All of our color-correcting Tone Up Primers instantly hydrate and camouflage minor imperfections leaving skin prepped and ready for foundation.

The new Lumiere Tone Up Primer with iridescent pearl, boosts your skin’s radiance, making it the choice for dull skin. 1 fl. oz.

• Color-correcting
• Instantly hydrates
• Delicate pearl finish

• Lengthens makeup wear

As you can see from the above pictures, there are 2 recommended foundation types: Ink Lasting Cushion Foundation Slim Fit (Compact) and Ink Lasting Foundation Slim Fit (Bottle).

The Ink Lasting Cushion Foundation Slim Fit has a smooth, natural matte finish. It brightens and evens skin tone. It has a weightless feel with no caking. It comes with an antibacterial applicator and mirror.

The Ink Lasting Foundation Slim Fit (Bottle) is a buildable medium to full long-wearing coverage with a smooth natural matte finish. It is also weightless and no caking. It brightens and evens skin tone.

Both types of foundations are available in Warm (W), Neutral (N), and Cool (C) tones, as well as Light, Medium, and Deep. This makes for much easier skin matching (See examples above). So for me, I have light skin with a pink undertone, so I am looking for a Light shade in Cool (C) or Neutral (N). Based on the examples on the arm tests above, I would choose Porcelain (N10). What is your perfect match?

You can find the Foundations and Tone Up Primers in the new Avon x The Face Shop Category on my Avon Website.

You can meet all the new players while you’re there visiting, such as the new Flat Velvet Lipstick. So pretty!
