The Glimmerstick Lip Liner is fabulous. I use it to both line and fill in my lips before applying my lipstick. It sets the stage for my lipstick, plus gives it even more staying power.

The Crave Lip Gloss is a new found friend. I enjoy it so much.

The Crave Lip Gloss can be worn alone or atop your lip color. I wear mine both ways. It has a nice squeeze top to apply with. The Crave Lip Glosses have a super shiny, pearl finish, and super delicious gourmand aromas. I swear I can taste it when I apply mine. It tastes just like birthday cake. And although they’re not flavored, I definitely get the sense of it being flavored when I apply it – so delish.

Eyebrow Grooming 2-Piece Set Offers A $10 Dollar Savings

Brows are HUGE right now — figuratively and literally, wouldn’t you say? And eyebrow grooming is all the rage, making sure to shape and fill in, and keeping those brows shining in the spotlight, as the superstars they are.

I told you in a blog post just the other day that I would tell you about the special little insert brochures that come along with each Campaign’s main brochure, and this is just what I was talking about. The hidden treasures that can be found in these special little booklets.

These special little booklets usually have bundle deals within them. And I was very happy to come across this special, as I was looking for an eyebrow brush for myself. I did find the eyebrow brush in the regular Campaign Brochure, and it was listed for $9.00 on its own, then I found this in the Let’s Makeup! booklet, and was like wow! I can get a brush and a brow pencil for $8.00, a dollar less than just the brush by itself. That’s an awesome deal!

And check out this brow brush — It has 3 different brush heads on the same brush.

**Eyebrow Brush from Avon – 3 Brush Heads on 1 Brush**

I really love this feature. It’s like having 3 brushes in one. You can brush your brows, then apply the pencil and then blend that out, all using this same brush.

Then to set your brows — I’m going to let you in on an old-school beauty secret that I’ve used for years and just saw KKW’s personal make-up artist tell upcoming make-up artists this same trick on Glam Masters. Use hairspray, honey! What I’ll do with this new brush is spray a little bit of hairspray on the soft brush head (on the dual brush end) and brush that over each brow – you may need to re-spray in-between brushing each brow if the hair spray dries a bit. But yeah, it keeps your brows set great, and no wax flaking like some of the other wax-based finishers. Then just wash off the brush end with a little soap and water and let it dry, and you’re ready for next time.

The brow pencil in this set is really awesome too. I love the color I chose, Brunette. I was at first concerned that it may be too dark for me since I have salt and pepper hair, but it’s really nice, kind of a taupe/brown color, so it works perfectly. It goes on very easily and blends very well. It does have wax in its ingredients, and that helps it adhere to your brows, but does not flake.

The brow pencil is actually a Glimmersticks Brow Definer, and not a “pencil” per say, so there is no sharpening necessary, just twist it up. These normally sell for $9.00 each, so yeah, you are getting this for free actually with this bundle deal.

This deal is good through the end of Campaign 4, which will end the afternoon of February 4th. Then the little booklet will be down and the link I’m giving you here for the bundle will no longer work, so don’t wait too long to get yours.

So Many Kisses Mini Lipsticks

Hey everybody! How are you doing today? Hope you’ve been enjoying a fun-fabulous weekend.

Cucina (Kitchen) Luxury Hand Soap with Olive Oil

Happy Monday everyone! What’s new and happening with you? I can tell you that there is definitely a whole lotta new and happening going on over here in Avon Land. It’s all so exciting, and tomorrow is Campaign 4 launch day, with even more new goodness. My head is spinning! But in a good way.

One thing I can tell you about the new items being released by Avon, is that they are definitely more luxe, and this is intentional. With our new CEO at the helm, Avon is going in a new, upward, and definitely trend-making trajectory.

So, the newest and truly “luxe” item that caught my eye was the Fruits and Passion Cucina Hand Soap. I knew immediately that this was for me. I am a foodie and a home cook – I wash my hands a LOT, and my hands pay for this fact with dryness (and I do have my favorite Avon hand cream for that), but it is nice to have a moisturizing hand soap to help prevent the dryness in the first place, right?

Well, this new luxe hand soap line from Avon is just the ticket. It is a gentle, (also biodegradable), natural ingredient, plant-derived formula, which includes olive oil and glycerin, both of which are greatly touted for being super moisturizing.

There are 3 formulations to choose from: Grapefruit and Rhubarb (pink soap) – that’s the one I chose to try – it smells sooooo good. I definitely get the grapefruit notes. Not over-powering, just really, really nice, which is another intentional factor of this luxury hand soap, it is exquisitely scented. There is Sea Salt and Amalfi Lemon (white soap), and then also the Coriander and Olive Oil (green soap).

I love the packaging of this soap as well. Cucina means kitchen in Italian, and these bottles and the ingredients definitely lend to an Italian kitchen feel. So in essence, these cuties look fabulous, feel fabulous on your hands, and smell fabulous.

As you saw from my first picture posted, these hand soaps arrive in a nice white box that says Avon. I think these hand soaps would actually make wonderful gift ideas. I was thinking like a thoughtful gift for your Mom, your Sister, a co-worker, or a teacher, or anyone really. Your bestie would probably love receiving a luxe hand soap, I know I would! Ohhh — How about your cheffy guy friends, and don’t forget to treat yourself as well. These look so pretty in the kitchen.

If you follow me on my social media you may recall that I had a nasty fall in November. I’ve been on the mend, and am doing much better now – thank goodness!

I had two areas on my right leg that received injuries. My knee received a deep gash, and I also scraped my leg close to my ankle. My knee was my main concern, but I treated both wounds the same. My knee eventually got better, but the scrape got bigger and much worse. I ended up having to go to a Dermatologist for this issue and it seems that I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic I was using. But getting to where I’m going with my story, using the Avon Moisture Therapy on my legs has been such a comfort – not on my wounds, but around the wound area and my complete leg area actually – it really helped my skin feel so much better. I had ordered some of the little holiday lotion sets that Avon was offering during the holiday season to give out, and I kept the Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing Lotion for hands, so that was the one that I used initially and it helped my skin so much, that I ordered the Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing Body Lotion and Cream. They are of a different consistency than the Hand Lotion, they are more creamy, which works very well for going right into my skin with no greasy residue at all. That was an important factor for me in my healing – that the lotion would work into my skin quickly – I had limited mobility lotioning up my legs since I could not bend my knee at first, plus the areas were sensitive so I did not want to rub very hard.

Another fabulous thing about these Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing and Repair Lotions is that they are great for sensitive skin. They are not perfumed. And that is also an issue that came up for me during this ordeal. The area on my leg that was allergic to the antibiotic lotion was triggered into some kind of eczema episode, so I had to be careful what type of lotion I used, and it definitely had to be very moisturizing and also unscented. Both of these babies fit the bill perfectly and I will continue to use both of these body lotion products. They both work awesomely – it would just be a matter of preference. The lotion pump is great. I like that I can walk by and easily get lotion for my hands or whatever on the fly. The jar of cream is great as well. It’s very creamy and luxurious feeling. I like to sit on my bed and open the jar and enjoy using this on my skin right after a shower or bath – And speaking of baths — I was finally able to take a bath for the first time in over 2 months – hooray!! I definitely needed help getting up and down – my knee caps are still a bit sore, but I did it! What an awesome feeling – You just don’t realize how much the little pleasures in life mean sometimes until you’re unable to enjoy them. A bubble bath!! With my favorite Avon Vanilla Bubble Bath!! I was so excited. I had a full bottle of my Vanilla Bubble Bath that I had just purchased back at the beginning of November, and it just sat there, waiting for me… But we finally got to connect again – Yay!

Now — another comfort and joy — and you know I’ve talked about Avon’s foot lotion before:

Well, let me tell you, this has been a great great comfort to me in my recuperation as well. My husband would rub my feet for me since I couldn’t bend my knees to reach my feet — Awwwww….. He’s been so sweet and kind to me through all this.

I usually use the Avon Foot Works Deep Moisturizing Cream, but this last time I ordered I decided to also try the Intensive Moisture Foot Cream, it says that it’s safe for Diabetics too (if any of you may need a special diabetic foot cream). I love them both! I’ve been using them both, and they both rub into my skin very easily – they both make my feet feel sooooo much better. The only difference I can detect is the aroma. They both have a very light aroma. The Deep Moisturizing Foot Cream has a very pleasant (kind of floral) aroma and the Intensive Moisture Foot Cream has a very light peppermint aroma. I highly recommend both of these – If you have a health issue perhaps go with the Intensive Healing one, but other than that – perhaps the scent would sway you one way or the other. Avon Moisture Therapy Calming Relief Hand Lotion

And you know I cannot talk about awesome lotions without mentioning my favorite hand cream, Avon’s Calming Relief Hand Cream. I keep a couple of these babies on hand (haha!) at all times. Again, unscented, and this has oatmeal to provide great relief to your dry hands – easy to rub into the skin, and not greasy. Perfect combo. I think I’ll wrap this segment up with my favorite facial moisturizing routine as well – Cannot leave your face out in the cold… I know – boooo…

I’m in total love with the Avon x The Face Shop’s new Rice Water Bright Foaming Facial Cleanser and The Therapy Oil Blending Cream. The Rice Water Bright Cleanser is made using – rice water! The milky white water is enriched with vitamins A, B & C, ceremide and minerals, and this helps your skin feel moisturized and look radiant. This does have a very nice light scent – I was concerned about it having a scent, but it has not irritated my skin, and my face feels really good after washing with this.

The Therapy Oil Blending Cream contains Sandalwood, Avocado and Palmarosa. Upon receiving it you will see that it has a layer of cream, and a layer of oils. They send a spatula for you to blend your formula. Once it’s blended, it stays blended. This is made from a 200-year-old formulation of flowers, leaves and fruits that help keep your skin feeling nourished and looking younger.
