Do you love makeup? Skin care? Fashion? Jewelry? Who doesn’t? I know I do! And I enjoy sharing it all as well, and getting paid to spread the beauty and joy.
Yesterday Avon announced to us Reps that sign-up to become a Representative is now free for a limited time, so I wanted to be sure to spread this good news to you all.
Sign-up is very easy and literally painless. It is in fact quite a great feeling becoming an Avon Representative, and all the fun and goodness that comes with it.
Firstly, here is the run-down on the new limited time sign-up special:
- No-Cost Sign-Up! This is not a drill. New recruits can take advantage of no-cost sign-up (we’re talking $0, for real). It’s only for a limited time.
- Support Team Avon! We’ll give new recruits the opportunity to contribute $5 (or more!) to support the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs and services at sign-up—an amazing way to start a new Avon journey.
- Get Our Bestsellers! We’ll also offer our All the Bestsellers Starter Kit for $30 packed with full-size products and new brochures (a $107 value!) for everything they need to sell like a pro.
Secondly, I will share with you some of the reasons why I love being an Avon Representative (this could take a week… ).
- I love being my own boss and setting my own hours, taking off when I desire to, etc.
- I love makeup, skin care, fashion, jewelry, etc. and I enjoy sharing all the fun stuff on my blog and social media – and getting paid for it.
- I love that I do not have to make and ship the product. I have a HUGE team of researchers, developers, a huge shipping department, and a marketing department, all there for me. Not mention free training.
- Yes, free training. Training for all the new products, training to market online, training for anything and everything you need for your business, at Avon U.
- A free website that is built for me – Yay! I’ve done website building in the past, and this is a huge benefit. Plus a free customizable URL.
- Rapid pay. 2 day turn-around. Commission payments are sent directly to my bank within 2 days of an online sale registering in my account.
- Health insurance. This is another biggie for me and my husband. We are both self employed, and we now have affordable health insurance. We were free to choose which coverage we desired, sign-up was easy peasy – no exams or paperwork.
- Avon Perks – Special discounts for Avon Reps (I’ll show you some pics below).
- Avon pays my State Sales Tax – Hallelujah!
- My business expenses are mainly makeup, skin care, fashion, and jewelry that I get to try and demo – I have fun and look good while I’m marketing!

Here is a look at what my Avon Perks page looked like today. I clicked on electronics. I’m in the market for a new computer, so I’m very excited to see what kind of deals are available.
Looks like I can shop Dell, HP, and Canon for some great discounts as an Avon Rep. Yay!
There are special discounts on Movie Tickets, Travel, Automobiles, Local Discounts, discounts of Groceries, and some Exclusively Avon offers. So yeah, this is pretty awesome.
