We are all now very aware that being safe in today’s climate means trying to not go out for needed items as much as possible, and now that Avon is resuming their shipping tomorrow, March 26th, you can safely shop for all your personal need items online, which is so wonderful. I know that for me, I like to take my time shopping for my personal need products. I look at the selections, compare each variety, read the labels, etc., and right now when shopping in public, it’s kind of like, let’s get what we need and get out of here as fast as possible. But no worries for you now, browse at your leisure. Find the perfect hygiene and beauty products for you and your family, and do so from the safety of your own home, and all your personal/hygiene/beauty products will be shipped safely and directly to your front doorstep. With this fabulous shipping news, Avon is giving us some updates that I’d like to share with you.

AVON SHIPPING UPDATE
Good news! In compliance with the Ohio DOH Order and CDC guidelines, our Ohio distribution center will reopen on Thursday, March 26.
Submitted orders are already in a queue and will be processed in the order they were received.
We are committed to the health and safety of our customers, Representatives and associates. Please know that we will take extra precaution in following CDC guidelines in our distribution center to ensure a safe and clean environment for our staff and for the packages we ship.
As always, please continue to take care of yourself and one another.
Avon
Avon is also addressing questions regarding shipping timeliness, safety, and how orders will now be handled. Here are a few Q&A’s for you:
What happens with orders that were placed Friday, Saturday and Sunday prior to the Ohio distribution center closing?
All orders placed Friday, Saturday & Sunday will be shipped once the distribution center reopens and resumes shipping on March 26, 2020.
Will orders be placed in a queue to process when the distribution center re-opens or will it be random?
Yes, orders that have already been placed are in a queue and orders will be processed in the order of the day they were placed. For example, orders placed on Monday will be processed before orders placed on Tuesday.
Can my customers still place orders on youravon.com/mybeauty?
Yes! Your customers can still place orders on your website, and will ship when the distribution center reopens, expected March 26th, based on received date. Customers will be notified of any delays upon checkout.
When will customers be billed for orders placed on my website?
Customers will not be charged until the order ships. However, credit card companies usually place a temporary hold on the amount, but policies can vary. Please refer to your credit card company’s policy.
Are we doing extra cleaning in Avon facilities?
All Avon facilities are implementing extra precautions to keep our associates and Representatives safe during this critical time. All manufacturers of products distributed by Avon are compliant with cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices, meaning all personnel involved with manufacturing the product wear appropriate personal protective equipment. In addition, the coronavirus is transmitted through close individual contact, and there is no evidence of transmission from the start of manufacturing through the distribution of personal care products. We are closely monitoring the situation around the world and will adjust our practices accordingly if new information becomes available.
Are we aware of what UPS is doing to ensure they don’t transmit the virus on packages?
