As soon as I saw these in Avon’s What’s New Representative Preview Book, I knew I had to give them a try. How cool do these look?
But first, a little background info for you on the Perioe brand and what it’s all about. The Perioe Toothpaste band was launched in 1981 by LG — the new parent company of Avon, so this is an LG product. The Perioe brand was named so because of the word periodontal and the main focus of the brand is to help maintain oral health beyond just the teeth. Each of their products has a special function that takes into consideration one’s overall oral care. (Source: Korea.net) They are also lauded for using natural ingredients.
One of the coolest things about these particular Perioe Tooth Balms offered through Avon is that they are – Ahem… flavored by professional perfumers, thank you very much. Fancy, schmancy. And it does taste really good! At first I got the mint – not an overpowering mint – but nice and fresh. The more I brushed, the more the Earl Grey tea flavor came forward. It is like a nice herbal flavor. Quite different from the ordinary.
Now, I know you caught a glimpse of those cute toothbrushes, didn’t you? Not to worry, I wasn’t going to leave them out.
Can you spot something different about these toothbrushes? Look at the bristles. They are all going horizontally. This allows you to floss between your teeth as you’re brushing. Brilliant!
Did you also notice that these come 2 to a pack? I’m taking the red and white for me, and giving the black and white one to my Hubby to use. I really enjoyed using this toothbrush. The brush bristles are nice and soft, so they were very easy on my gums. I was able to reach way to the back of my mouth easily as it is a short headed brush. It has a nice width, so I felt like I got good coverage on all my teeth, and of course it was great for my front teeth (gotta shine that smile) with the layout of the bristles.

As a follow-up to my Magix Dust post, I wanted to share this amazing picture with you from Avon. It shows some of the gemstones that are used in this beautiful creation of 100% mineral powder. I say powder, but there is no talc in this at all. The formulation contains ultrafine precious gems, crystals, and minerals, such as Rubies, Quartz, Tourmaline, and Pearls.
This will give your face a naturally glowing soft matte finish without drying your skin. I had an inquiry regarding using this and having dry skin. Magix Dust, again is not a powder, but rather a gem dust. It really is pretty and very smooth and light upon my skin when I put it on. It has a nice pearlesque finish that is beautiful on the skin without being too much. It gives a youthful look – not too shiny – and not dry looking.
I wanted to share my favorite facial cleanser with you again today. I just cannot get enough of this stuff. I’ve been using a free sample that Avon sent me a while back – you can see the small tube in the picture above. I decided to purchase the larger tube, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the nice large size that it is. I couldn’t tell from the advertising pictures that the tube was this large, so yeah, I’m very happy to have this.
The Rice Water Bright facial foaming cleanser is made with rice water — the milky white water that comes from rinsing rice. It is enriched with vitamins A, B, and E, ceramide, soapwort extract (to keep skin looking clear and bright), and minerals. This foaming cleanser is actually a cleanser and moisturizer in one.
I love how my face feels after I wash with this. The texture of the Rice Water Bright Foaming Cleanser is like whipped cream.
It is very rich and creamy, but yet you do not get any greasy residue after rinsing at all. My face feels very clean and lightly moisturized.
And it smells very pretty. I’ve described the aroma to you before as smelling like soft pink. If soft pink had an aroma, this is what it would smell like to me. It is not a strong perfumy aroma at all, very light and pleasant.
This cleanser is a pleasure to use. That is my best description. The texture is a pleasure – it has a pearlesque look to the cream. The aroma is a pleasure, and the way my face looks and feels after use is a pleasure. It foams up very nicely when you add a bit of water while washing your face.
You’ve gotta try it! I really think you’ll love it.
The price is $11.00 for this very large tube, regularly $13.00, so a great deal as well.
I follow my Rice Water Bright facial cleansing with The Therapy Oil Blending Cream which has sandalwood, avocado and palmarosa leaves. I feel totally pampered, and I love using facial products with natural ingredients.
I also wanted to note that I left the outer plastic covering on my new tube of Rice Water Bright to let you see that it arrives nicely sealed. After removing the plastic covering there is also a seal when you unscrew the lid. So no one’s had their nose to it giving it a smell or opening it and giving it a try. It is fresh and brand new, and delivered right to you! This is a very important factor to me when I purchase personal care items, and yet another reason why I love Avon, and love ordering my products from them. I feel confident that my products are safe.

How’d you like a little makeup magic (or Magix) in your life? I’m talking Magix Dust Finishing Powder magic. This stuff is really really cool. Magix Dust is Avon’s newest addition to their Magix line, and I am loving it!
Get this — Magix Dust is made from a 100% pure mineral powder blend of micro-milled rose quartz, rubies, tourmaline and pearls. And that’s just what it looks like on — Pearlesque — It is so pretty. It is subtle, but noticeable. And definitely not overdone. I do not feel like I look like a glitter queen, but rather, radiant and glowy. Magix Dust sets makeup, diffuses light, visibly blurs pores, controls shine (zero flashback when taking pics), and blends effortlessly.
The Magix Dust formula also contains antioxidant green tea extract to enhance and smooth skin. It is talc, oil, and paraben-free. It is very light and gorgeous.

The Blushing Beauty Powder is so wonderful. It also has a nice sheen and is so lovely to apply with the little powder puff. The little powder puff is soft and actually quite easy to use as a blush applicator. No stiff color line, just a delightful way to color my cheek area. It makes my skin look really pretty, as the duo brings an appreciated hint of youthfulness. This is great for any age group in my opinion.
