My Latest Beauty Product Haul From Avon

Hello everyone! How are you?

Today, we’re going from hemp, to hair, to dramatic firming cream, to goats in trees. Wait.. What?? Ready? Let’s go!

I suppose I’ll start off at the top with hemp, as in the new Veilment Hemp Seed Oil Ultra-Nourishing Bathing Bar. You thought I was going to say hair, right?

Hemp and CBD Oil seem to be all the rage the days, and for good reason. They are filled with nourishing, healing, and calming properties. This particular Bathing Bar is made using Hemp Oil. Avon has CBD Oil products as well, such as the Green Goddess Facial Oil that I love so much, but this time we’ll be talking Hemp.

And what about Hemp Seed Oil?

Here is Avon’s answer for you: A naturally-derived oil enriched with omega-3-6-9 fatty acids and vitamin E to help naturally nourish, hydrate and soften as it cleanses for the look of youthful, healthy radiance.

BENEFITS

• Infused with ultra-hydrating hemp seed oil

• Gently cleanses and nourishes

• Leaving skin feeling refreshed and soft

• Dermatologically tested

• Formulated without CBD, THC, mineral oil, parabens and triclosan

And to my very great surprise, this smells AWESOME! I was really expecting this to smell “green” like herbally, because of the nature of the ingredient, and also the color of the bar itself, but oh boy, does it smell wonderful. It’s definitely a unisex aroma. It’s pretty, but yet almost hints at a men’s fragrance. So yeah, I’d say for both men and women to share. I would even set this out in a guest bathroom to fragrance the air, it smells so good. After using this bar I have found it very pleasurable as it lathers well and leaves my skin lightly fragranced.

If you’d like to give this Bathing Bar a try, it is listed on my site for $4.00 each.

Up next, I decided to try the Avon Solutions Dramatic Firming Cream as well as their Advance Techniques 360 Nourish With Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner.

You may or may not yet be aware of how skin’s elasticity and tone can tend to change as we mature, especially around the neck and jaw-line areas of our gorgeous faces. Wah-wah…

Even when using moisturizers faithfully, exercising, and eating a very healthy diet, we may still need to call in a little extra reinforcement. Thankfully Avon has their Dramatic Firming Cream. As I’ve been noticing some changes in my jaw-line area, I thought it was time for me to call in the cavalry myself.

Here is Avon’s official description:

Give your skin its youthful, tight look back with the Dramatic Firming Cream. The special formula works to firm and smooth while simultaneously moisturizing your face to return skin’s healthy elasticity. 1.7 fl. oz.

BENEFITS
• Collagen helps keep skin firm and resilient
• Vitamin E helps provide antioxidant protection
• Vitamin A helps smooth skin
• Pomegranate extract helps firm skin
• Dermatologist-tested, allergy-tested
• Phthalate-free, sulfate-free, petroleum-free

TO USE

• Use each night after cleansing and toning, or in the morning under makeup or alone. Apply a nickel-sized amount of cream on your throat and massage upward until completely absorbed. Then, beginning at the jaw line, gently smooth the cream on your face, moving toward your temples and avoiding the eye area.

I’ve been using this firming cream for about a week now. Overall, so far I am very happy with it. I use this mainly at night after cleansing and moisturizing. I dot it on my chest and neck area and rub upwards to my jaw-line. I do not use this on my entire face, and definitely not around my eye area. Do not want to tighten my eyes! Haha!

This product is lightly scented. It is creamy and light. Not thick and gooey at all. It rubs in very easily and then disappears, so you could wear this during the day under makeup no problem.

If you’d like to give this Dramatic Firming Cream a try for yourself, you can snag a jar right now for $5.49 on my website. It normally lists for $10.00, so yay!

And next, we talk hair and Argan Oil.

I’ve noticed that Argan Oil seems to be all the rage these days as well. So yeah, let’s give this a try too. I’m always game to give something a try at least once (well, things that are within reason now…) 🙂

Here is Avon’s official description:

Instantly improve hair’s health and shine with Moroccan argan oil. It helps to transform dry hair and leaves it feeling moisturized. Formulated with argan oil, provitamin B5 and vitamin E, conditions hair with a creamy, luxurious lather, helping to restore the signs of healthy hair. 11.8 fl. oz.

BENEFITS
• Cleanses and conditions hair
• Restore the signs of healthy hair
• Instantly detangles hair
• Fights frizz
• Contains vitamin E and provitamin B5
• Suitable for all hair types and for color treated hair

TO USE
Wet hair and lather. Rinse. Repeat if necessary.

So I asked myself, “What is Argan Oil?” Then I asked Wikipedia. Here is the reply:

Argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree that is endemic to Morocco. In Morocco, argan oil is used to dip bread in at breakfast or to drizzle on couscous or pasta. It is also used for cosmetic purposes.

So then I wondered what are the benefits of Argan Oil? Healthline.com helped answer that question:

Argan oil has been used for centuries for a variety of culinary, cosmetic and medicinal purposes. It is rich in essential nutrients, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Early research indicates that argan oil may help prevent chronic illnesses, including heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

Okay! Sounds awesome! I may want to eat some too. But, yeah, definitely sounds very healthy for my hair, so thanks Avon!

I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks now, and I really do love it. As you’ve most likely noticed, I’ve grown out my natural hair color which is a salt and pepper blend, or as I call it “my silvers”, and I like them to shine. That’s one of the reasons why I decided to give this a try. It sounded like something that would help my silvers shine at their best. And I was right. My hair is shiny and manageable, and even has more body. I could tell a difference after my first use. My scalp was feeling a bit dry as well, and now feels much better after using this product.

Definitely recommend, and again if you’d like to try this amazing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner for yourself, it is listed at $4.89, regularly $9.00.

And as an extra side-note I decided to look up Argan Trees to see what they look like. Omg.. Haha! Check this.

Seems like goats like to climb up in the Argan Trees. That’s too funny!

And here is what the Argania Fruits look like:

Bet you know more about Moroccan Argan Oil now than you thought you’d care to!

Well, at least I hope it was a fun journey for you. I know I enjoyed learning all about it, and especially the goats in the trees.

I also hope that you give some of these fantastic products a try for yourself and enjoy their benefits.

I have more Avon goodies on their way to me now and am expecting an Avon Swag Bag to arrive very soon as well. I’m so excited! Avon’s annual convention is taking place at the end of this month. This year it is a virtual convention, so I’ll be attending from home. I can’t wait to see how it all goes. It will be live and interactive. But I’ll for sure be showing you all the swag I receive. It will either arrive with the order I have coming now, or in my next one, so we’ll see!

If you’d like to join in on the convention and all the swag, you still have a bit of time left to grab a spot. You can click here to join up today, and then contact me for convention sign-up info.

Okay gang, I’ll sign off for now. Till next time, stay fabulous!
