Hey, hey everybody! Are you ready for fabulous new eyeshadow quads from Avon? I know I’ve been, and I’m so happy to have the chance to preview them before they arrive on the scene next week.
Avon is launching a whole new line of eyeshadows called fmg Glimmer Shadows. There will be 10 new quads to choose from and mix and match for your dream look(s).
I chose to try eyeshadow quads Muse and Goddess.
Muse is filled with beautiful shades of browns and berries.
The tones in this palette came out differently in different lighting. The tones are more brown/berry.
I wanted to use this palette with Goddess which is filled with glittery gold and silver shades plus a dark brown.
The three shimmers in this palette are silver, gold, and kind of a peachy shimmer. I used my finger to dab some on my eyelids for a nice shimmery finish. Again, with the lighting the shades came out looking a bit different. That is not black, but a rich dark brown.
The darker shades have great pigment and are very blendable. The little applicators are very soft, so it was easy to blend without pulling or tugging my skin. Really nice!
I go straight in dark with my outline, then blend to soften. This eyeshadow worked really great and it was easy to achieve my desired look.
A nice blend of brown and berries with shimmery highlights on the lids. A great eyeshadow tone for me to wear with my gold jewelry from Avon, of course!
I’m looking forward to trying more of these beautiful new eyeshadow palettes. There are 2 more that are in my colors, called Vixen and Temptress. Don’t you just love those names? There will be palettes for everyone’s tastes and undertones, and these are being introduced at a very affordable $11.99 each, so you can easily build your collection of faves.
