Propoli Thera: Restore Your Hair’s Luster and Thickness with Bee Goodness

Hello everyone! How are you today? I hope doing very well.

I’m so excited for Fall’s arrival this week. How about you?

In my excitement for Fall and my excitement for this new bee goodness hair care line from Avon, I was really thrilled that my new hair products are actually in Fall colors so my photoshoot could be (bee) in the spirit of the season.

Bees, honey, sunflowers… All go very well together, don’t you think? Hope it helps get you in the spirit too. But, we’re here for these fabulous hair products. And I mean fabulous. I’ve been so excited to use these two in particular. The new Propoli Thera Hair Oil Serum and Volume Spray.

As you’ve most likely seen, my hair is now it’s natural color. I love sporting my “silvers” as I lovingly refer to my hair color, and I also love my short pixie hair style. It is low maintenance, but I still have a couple of issues that I deal with in styling my hair, so I’m very happy that Avon now has this new hair care line that is infused with bee goodness and is a very healthy solution for my needs.

Firstly, with natural gray or silver hair, if you have it yourself, then you know that it can tend to be more on the dry side. Mine is soft, but still could be more supple, plus I really love my silvers to shine, so this Propoli Thera Oil Serum is the perfect ticket for me. And oh man, it smells really good too. I only need a very very small dot of this. I rub it between my hands, and then disperse throughout my (still damp) hair. It is not oily or sticky. It just instantly makes my hair feel like it has new life in it. More supple, like when I used to color it (just for that reason). My Husband was so impressed with this that he’s even using it himself, and that is a first, believe me. But it does add extra shine to my silvers as well. I really love this. Here is Avon’s description for you:

Catch the buzz and treat your hair to some self care. Our rejuvenating hair serum is made with beeswax, honey and royal jelly (what bees eat), and will help strengthen, protect, moisturize and smooth hair. Not to mention, it adds shine as you style! 5.7 fl. oz.

Our Elastine PropoliThera is formulated to add new life to your hair. Free of sulfates and parabens, it infuses every strand with healthy-looking body and shine.

BENEFITS
• Repairs damaged hair
• Mends split ends
• Suitable for all hair types, color-treated hair, permed hair or chemically-treated hair
• Paraben-free, sulfate-free

Key Ingredients:
• Propolis (tree sap plus beeswax) – Contains minerals, vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants to help restore weak and brittle hair.
• Honey (made by bees from the nectar of flowers) – Helps restore moisture.
• Royal jelly (the food of bees) – Helps lock in shine and restore hair’s natural luster.

TO USE
Use after shampoo and conditioner. Apply 1-2 pumps to damp or dry hair and leave in.

And yes, it does, restore hair’s natural luster. That’s a great way to describe it.

The regular price is $18.00, but when you shop my Avon store, it is $15.79. This is going to last me a long time with the little tiny drop that I use. So a great value.

Up next, my second hair issue is thinness. I know this is hereditary since my Mom had really thin hair. It’s mainly in my bangs area, right there in full front display, so I have to work at making my hair look thicker. When I visit my hair stylist, they spray a volumizing spray in my hair before blow drying and that seems to make a big difference, but at $50.00 a bottle, I passed. BUT, when I saw that Avon now has a volumizing spray within this new line, I was super excited, and knew I had to give it a try. And bonus, it’s $15.00 on my Avon website – Yay!

This works really well. After I apply the Hair Oil Serum, I spritz a little of this in my bang area, of course, and then throughout the top and crown of my head. It doesn’t take a lot, and again, this is not sticky like a hair styling product may be. I cannot even tell it’s there, but my hair can. It is a lot fuller when I blow dry, and this smells really really good just like the Serum. It’s hard to describe the aroma. It’s very light, kind of a floral + perhaps a slight honey back note. It’s not overpowering, but does linger and makes me happy to smell it. My Husband loves the aroma as well.

And that is a very good point. I will have to try the Shampoo and Conditioner next. If they’re as great as these two products, then I know I’ll love them too. And I bet they smell really great!
