If you’ve been growing out your natural gray or silver hair like I have, then you definitely know what I am talking about. Silver and gray hair has a mind of it’s own, sometimes minute to minute. But there is help, thank goodness!

Avon has a line of hair care made from beeswax, honey, and royal jelly called Elastine PropoliThera, that I’ve been talking about here for a while, that I love, consisting of shampoos, conditioners, treatments, etc., which I am continuing to use, and I have also added a new item to my hair care regime, which has really brought in extra silkiness and shine. You may have heard of this product before, it’s Biosilk Silk Therapy.

Biosilk Silk Therapy is made with silk proteins that help strengthen, moisturize and improve hair’s elasticity.

I use the Biosilk Silk Therapy after shampooing and conditioning. I first towel dry my hair then apply the Elastine PropoliThera Hair Oil Serum, then the Biosilk Silk Therapy. And as you can see pictured, I also spritz in some Propoli Thera Volume Spray if I desire a little extra lift. For my picture above, I did not use the Volume Spray, only the 2 serums, for a sleeker look.

I used these products right before a recent trip, and they really kept my hair looking it’s best. I shampooed and fixed my hair the night before our trip and then set it with rollers the morning of, before we left. I had planned to shampoo and fix my hair again that evening, but was too tired by the time we got back to our hotel room after dinner and visiting a very fun hidden Speakeasy. 🙂 (I’ll show you some pics in my next blog post.) But anyway, the next morning I was expecting a possibly frizzy situation and having to shampoo and fix again before heading out to explore, but you what? My hair still looked really great. It was soft and silky, still had body, and my style still looked fresh. So, all I had to do was brush and go. That hardly ever happens since I’ve been growing my hair longer from my past pixie style. The combo of the Propoli Thera Hair Oil Serum made with beeswax, honey, and royal jelly, combined with the Biosilk Silk Therapy made with silk protein, really makes a difference. I was only using the PropoliThera Serum and it is wonderful, but once I began using it in conjunction with the Biosilk, it’s changed my hair game to one with even more positive results, and the Biosilk definitely puts the shine back in my hair. A definite added bonus. My silvers start shining as soon as I apply it.
