Iconic Vintage Avon Products That You Can Still Purchase from Avon

I love it when a conversation sparks inspiration, don’t you?

I’ve been corresponding with a friend of mine who goes by the handle, High Heeled Road Tripper, and she was commenting about vintage Avon products, and that got me to thinking, “You know, we do still have some vintage Avon products that are actively for sale today.”, which is really cool as I hear comments from folks all the time saying that they couldn’t believe that a certain product was still for sale that they had forgotten about, so, let’s talk vintage Avon, and what you can still find that may be a long time favorite.

First and foremost, the queen of iconic Avon products, Skin So Soft. The original, the OG. 🙂 Yes, it is still here in all it’s glory, and then some. You can purchase Avon Skin So Soft Original Bath Oil plus many other Skin So Soft products in the original scent, plus new scents. The original Skin So Soft scent is the one that everyone has used as a bug repellent for decades. I know I’ve used it forever, and I still do. It now comes in a handy gel formulation that’s very easy to apply. I just got some for us for the Summer. So, happily it looks like SSS is here to stay! Hooray!

One of the oldest products, besides Skin So Soft, would have to be Avon’s Perfumed Liquid Deodorant. I remember my Mother using this product. How about you? Did you ever use this, or anyone in your family?

What I remember from my teens are Avon’s perfumes. I believe my first Avon perfume was Sweet Honesty, and then Timeless. Those two are still available (as are they in deodorant and hand cream form too), plus Candid, Night Magic, Topaze, Odyssey, and Dream Life. For perfumed deodorants, Avon has always been great at offering deodorants that match your favorite Avon perfumes. They still have a number of roll-on deodorants in vintage fragrances as well as some new ones. You can check those all out here.

Now, something that I definitely remember my Grandmother using, was Avon’s Silicone Glove Hand Lotion. I have a fond memory of her putting this on before heading out to church. And it’s still available on my Avon website. Too cool. You can check out all of Avon’s hand creams here.

Another iconic Avon product (line) that may not have been around as long as some of the others, is Avon’s Anew line of skin care. This is an Avon top seller, for good reason, and hopefully will be around for many more years to come. This line keeps growing as Avon continues to develop and add new skin care products all the time.
