Happy Friday everyone! Hope you’re all set for a fabulous weekend!
I wanted to pop by and share something fun and new with you from Avon. Essential Oils! Hooray!
They have roll-on Essential Oils and also Essential Oils that you put in their new diffuser. How cool is that?
Avon is harnessing the powers of Pure Essential Oils such as Lavender, Chamomile, Grapefruit, Lemon Peel, Sweet Orange, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, and Sweet Almond Oil to create special Aromatherapy Essential Oil Blends like: Focus (Helps boost alertness and concentration), Head-Aid (Helps soothe your mind), De-Stress (Like Yoga in a bottle, it helps calm you), Sweet Dreams (Create a serene environment for restful thoughts), and Happiness (Infuse the air with joy and exhilaration).
There are definitely a few that I am wanting to try!
Here’s a link to the new Avon Pure Essential Oils Page so you can have a look around and see what sounds great to you.
Who’s ready to ring in 2021? I know I am! Woo Hoo! I am so ready to just put 2020 in the rear-view mirror, be thankful for making it through intact (and with much gained new gratitude), and head into this new year with very high hopes.
And with high hopes at the beginning of every new year, eating black-eyed peas right after Midnight has been a family tradition that my husband and I have acknowledged since we were first married, 37 years ago. This came from his dear mother, Reba, who always told us to “Eat your black-eyed peas at Midnight for good luck!” It’s one of those southern “thangs” I suppose. I know it dates back to the Civil War. But for us it’s just fun, and something that we look forward to every New Year’s Eve. Which, I’ve got to get mine going here in just a few. I like to let them cook long and slow so they get thickened up really good, and they are hot and ready to serve right after the stroke of Midnight.
Do not want to leave anything to chance this year, right? 🙂
I hope you have a wonderful New Year’s celebration and that you have family traditions of your own that you enjoy. I’d love to hear all about your traditions. Feel free to leave a comment below!
Cheers to you and yours! Cheers to a very prosperous 2021 for all of us! Cheers to good health for all in 2021!

There’s so much magic to discover and explore this year. Fun and adorable Christmas decor,
tons of Christmas gift ideas,
for her and him,
and just so much more, like fragrance gift sets, stocking stuffers, makeup, cozy holiday pajamas and slippers. Come on by and see for yourself!
Have fun, and happy Holiday shopping!
Remember, when you purchase $60+, you receive free shipping, my treat!
Hello everyone! Are you ready for a Parisian Holiday? Yay!
I think this may be my favorite Avon Brochure cover yet. I love the Christmas in Paris theme this year. It’s just what we need to lift our spirits.
So, come on, step inside the C.24 Brochure with me for a look at our Parisian Holiday!
Avon’s Paris themed Christmas is a collection of chic limited-edition goodies full of vintage charm and romance, like Dreamlife Cologne, bottled in a very unique Eiffel Tower spray bottle. The perfume itself is a magical blend of mimosa flower, aspirational rose, and glowing amber. It arrives in a Parisian-themed gift box. How special would this be to give as a gift this year? And you know that this is going to be a collector’s item. So fun!
Say hello to Yvette. Isn’t she gorgeous?
You will find Yvette sitting pretty on Page 8 of the C.24 Brochure. She is filled with a fruity floral bubble bath. I love these vintage cat bubble bath decanters and am so happy to see them (well, her) make a come-back. I remember these from my childhood. Brings back really warm memories. Just imagine how she’ll warm someone else’s heart this year.
Hold the presses! This stunning beauty stopped me in my tracks!
Avon has pulled out all the stops for this gorgeous Statement Necklace, and it’s only $44.99. Fete Fabulous, indeed! You can find this beautiful necklace on page 13.
And accompanying the Statement Necklace, check out what’s on Page 12:
Avon has released another collection of Iconic Jewelry for Christmas this year. This collection truly has a romantic vintage look and feel. I am definitely eyeballing the Starburst Pin. I think it is going to be my “must-have” item this year. I have really been enjoying wearing brooches again, they’ve seemed to have made a come-back, at least in my heart.
Let’s see, how about some Christmas home decor to swoop you away to France?
I love that they’re calling it Bonjour Decor. It’s so beautiful and luminous. I think my favorite may be the Light-Up Cutout Star. How about you? Which is grabbing at your heart-strings? You can shop the entire collection on pages 16-17.
And my last, but not least, favorite pick from this Parisian excursion of holiday joy, is some makeup, of course! We’re backing it up to Pages 6-7.
Vive Le Makeup! On Page 6 you’ll see the City of Light Illumiator Powders. These little containers are so cute and so fun to use. I got one last year from that season’s style, and I really love it. The little powder puff is adorable and so soft. Very easy to apply color to your cheeks with the fluffy puff, and it’s just different and very feminine. This year’s collection of illuminating powders are delicate and illuminating. They add a lasting touch of radiance to your face and neck areas. The color choices are Charm, Bonjour, and Champagne.
You will find the Love in Paris Eye Palette on Page 7, along with the Dazzle Me Makeup Brush Set and Voilette Veil Holographic Lip Gloss. These are all very giftable makeup items, in very gorgeous colors. Check out all the glittery eyeshadows in the Paris Eye Palette.
I hope you enjoyed your Parisian Christmas tour and that you’ll stop by and stroll throughout the entire C.24 Brochure. There is still a lot to see that we did not visit here.
You can also stroll through the Virtual Catalog – Click Here. It’s really cute. The kitty cats on the front cover come to life.
And welcome to you all! (Or, y’all, as we say here in Texas!)
I’m sooooo excited that Fall has finally arrived. How about you? It’s definitely one of my favorite times of the year, when we welcome back the beautiful colors and aromas of Autumn, and hopefully some cooler weather. We’re sitting right in the middle of a tropical storm here in the Houston area, but oh well, I can still create the sense of Fall in my home, no matter what’s going on outside.
And what a gorgeous way to bring Fall into my home, and into your home! Avon has released their Seasonal Candles for this year, and they are stunning. I was so happy when I first saw these. I know I was smiling from ear to ear.
I don’t know about you, but some of these seem to have a Christmas theme to me. And, I do not know if this line will be for both Fall and Christmas, I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I can definitely already spy a few that will work for both for me. Let’s walk through each one and see what aroma blends they have to bring us comforts and joy.
I wanted to begin with my favorite – Pumpkin Pie! My husband and I both already agree that this is the one we want for our Autumn Candle. We always pick one together from Avon’s Seasonal Candle offerings. The aroma is Cinnamon Sugar, Sweet Pumpkin, and Warm Praline. Yuuuummmmm…..
And, before I go any further, I will let you know that each candle is listed for $25.00, but of course you get a special price when you shop my website. So your price and mine is $19.99. These are soy-blend candles for a cleaner burn. They are also 3 wick candles with a 30 hour burn time. And — the aromas are crafted by master perfumers, so la-di-da!
Okay — who’s next?
The Frosted Currant Candle. This one has the aroma of Currant, Magnolia, and Creamy Musk. I love how the scents are listed on each candle. No guess-work there. Makes it so much easier to quickly choose your favorite aromas.
Next is the Wreath Candle.
See, now this one reminds me of Christmas. The aromas are Juniper Berries, Frosted Fir Balsam, and Amber. Bet this one smells awesome. Will keep it in mind for Christmas for sure, or even the next one up, Nog.
This one sounds delicious with Pistachio, Spiced Vanilla, and Warm Milk. Definitely one to sit by the fireplace with, snuggled up with your honey. Or, perhaps the last one in the lineup is more for fireside snuggles?
This one’s really pretty with the vibrant red and gold. Flannel, with the aromas of Bergamot, Freesia, and Cedarwood. Very imaginative! I love the inspiration there.
So, have you picked your favorites, yet? Are you ready to get into the Fall spirit? Get your home in the Fall spirit? I know I am, and I’ve already begun. Cannot wait to get our Pumpkin Candle here and displayed where we can enjoy it’s beauty and aroma.
I wish you all a wonderful Autumn season filled with much joy, happiness, and beautiful Fall colors.
I’m so excited!! How about you?? I LOVE Christmas time, and all things Christmas themed, so when I found out that I’d get a special preview of Avon’s Christmas goodies during the convention, I was super stoked.
Saturday was Christmas party time at the Avon Virtual Visionaries Convention, and I brought back some fun pictures to show you. First up though, I promised you that I would share Avon’s 2020 Christmas theme with you. Any guesses?? Perhaps this will give you a clue:
Yaaassss…. It’s Christmas time in Paris this year! And vintage Paris at that! How fabulous!! Want to see more??
How about that glittery makeup brush set? And the Eiffel Tower bag? That’s going to make a wonderful Christmas gift set. And how about some gorgeous makeup to go with it?
And now, one of my all time favorites…
Isn’t she beautiful? I love these Iconic Avon Vintage Cat Bubble Baths. These are definitely collectible items.
And a peek at some items that are not Paris themed. Avon is also featuring traditional Christmas items this year as well. I picked a few of my favorites to show you, but there is a lot more to come!
I am definitely in love with this starry makeup caddy. Think I’ll probably gift myself with one of these this year. I’ve been a good girl! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed your Avon Christmas 2020 sneak peek. It will be here before we know it.
But in the meantime, there are a LOT of other goodies to enjoy now. New products have been arriving pretty much non-stop. I received quite a few in my Avon Convention Swag Bag. I’ll be sharing those with you soon, as well as what’s new in Campaign 20, which began this afternoon.
You can browse all the Campaign 20 goodies at your leisure – Click here. There are a lot of fabulous Iconic Avon beauty and fashion items in this new Campaign. I’ll be posting about those here soon.
Okay gang, I’ll be back with more Avon goodness for you, but in the meantime, be fabulous and always follow your joy!
Did you know that Cucina means Italian Kitchen? Learn something fun and new everyday, I say!
How are you today? Hope you are doing awesome!
I wanted to share Avon’s newest addition to their Cucina Essentials line, the new and oh so lovely, Dish Soaps.
I had fun over the weekend playing a guessing game with my friends. I posted this picture and asked what they thought was in the box.
I told them that this was something that I’d never in my life received nicely boxed. And that is exactly the truth!
Well, no one could guess it, although someone did come pretty close. They guessed Hand Soap, which the Cucina Hand Soaps also arrive nicely boxed.
Here is what the Cucina Dish Soap looks like as it’s unboxed:
Avon’s official description for the Cucina Garden Basil Dish Soap:
Kitchen formulas that make good scents. Naturally derived formula with stain-removing citric acid and microbubbles, complete with a unique and refreshing garden basil scent. 16.6 fl. oz.
BENEFITS • Grease cutter: effectively removes old grime and stains with “Citric acid Microbubble” • Concentrated mild gel leaves surfaces spotlessly clean! • Biodegradable for safe use: Safe for both the kitchen and the environment (eco-friendly) • 100% plant-based surfactants • Recyclable bottle
The Dish Soaps, just like the other Cucina products, make terrific gift ideas. You know, for the lovely folks that always seem so hard to buy for, or for the chefs in your life, or anyone who loves a pretty kitchen atmosphere. Everyone uses kitchen essentials and these are really special.
The Cucina line uses natural ingredients, and scents that are inspired by the Mediterranean. The Dish Soap Line has 2 scents to choose from, Garden Basil and Lemon Verbena.
As you can see, I purchased the Garden Basil, and it smells really good. Just like fresh basil from the garden! The soap itself is clear – the bottle is tinted green. This will give you a safe and natural clean for your dishes.
The Hand Soap I use is Cucina Fruits and Passion Grapefruit and Rhubarb.
I loved the aroma of this so much (It’s so luxe), that I was hoping there would be a lotion in the same scent, and then there was!
The Hand Soap and Hand Lotion are also formulated with natural ingredients and both contain Olive Oil for great moisturizing. I really love these. I’m very happy to now have one product from each of the Cucina lines to make a complete set, and I look forward to trying all the scents/varieties. Although, it’s going to be hard to tear me away from my Grapefruit and Rhubarb. Omg…
All of the Cucina products are listed at a special discount price on my Avon website, so yay, come on by and enjoy shopping online! Shipping is my personal gift to you with any purchase $60+.
I hope you treat yourself and your kitchen to these beautiful essentials. They are terrific for your hands, and look really stunning in the kitchen as added decor. And perhaps if someone is in good enough favor with you, you may consider gifting them with a set as well.
I’ve been using the Cucina Fruits and Passion Grapefruit and Rhubarb Hand Soap and told my Husband that I wished there was a Hand Lotion with this scent, and now there is! Yay!
Here is Avon’s official description of the Cucina Fruits and Passion Grapefruit and Rhubarb Hand Lotion:

The Cucina Fruits and Passion Hand Soaps are available in 3 Mediterranean inspired scents, including Coriander & Olive Tree, and Sea Salt & Amalfi Lemon.
The Dish Soaps just became available and I’ve ordered the Garden Basil variety. I’ll let you know how it is when I receive it, but the lotion is great. It is not greasy at all and smooths into my hands very easily. And of course I love the aroma, it’s very luxurious. It smells just like the Hand Soap that I’ve been loving so much. I truly feel pampered with these simply little luxuries that mean so much, especially when you’re washing your hands a lot. Which, I will tell you that the Hand Soap is wonderful having the Olive Oil in it. It helps keep my hands from drying out too much, and then with the moisturizing of the matching Hand Lotion, super luxe.
My Husband and I have been observing a Christmas in July ritual for quite a few years now. We usually watch our favorite Christmas movies together throughout July to lift our spirits during a hot Texas Summer.
This year, we decided to take it one step further. We’re decorating! I got the idea from a lady on IG who was putting up her Christmas tree in June to help cheer things up. We can all certainly use an extra boost of cheer this year, so who’s in?
When I was contemplating our Christmas in July this year, I decided that I’d like to help spread the cheer, and remembered seeing that Avon still had quite a few of their Christmas goodies up and on sale in the Good Buys Category. Can you believe it? They still have Christmas decorations like a Lighted Gingerbread Man, Star and Snowflake lights, special holiday makeup kits/sets, candles, and more at a discounted price. Yay! And I have pictures from my holiday posts of some of the available product, so let’s go!
First up, I found out that there are 2 of the holiday themed candles left. The Pass the Rum Cake Candle and the Mocha Merrymint Candle. I believe this is the very last chance and last Campaign in which we’ll be able to find them since they are no longer listed on my Avon website, but not to worry, I know a way that you can still get one during c.15 (till July 7th).
We’re going to shop these items by product number. Lucky you, you’ve got an Avon Insider with the info!
Next up, here is the link to the Good Buys Home Section. This is a Last Chance Sale. There is a Light Up Bell Jar with a Reindeer Scene, Holiday Cake Pans, cute Holiday Greeters, a Dashing Light Up Dog, Peppermint Path Lights, a Singing Snowman, and more. You’ll want to check all that out.
How about some fun makeup sets and limited time makeup specials?
And oh what fabulous luxuries the Cucina Fruits and Passions Hand Soaps really are!
Two of my followers will be receiving these 3 pack samples (the only ones I could get my hands on, btw…) of each of the Cucina Fruits & Passion Hand Soap varieties when a winner is drawn in my Summer Sample Giveaway. There are Coriander and Olive Tree, Grapefruit and Rhubarb, and Sea Salt and Amalfi Lemon. Don’t you just love the packaging? Very Old World Italian.
The Cucina line is made using gentle, plant-derived ingredients such as olive oil and glycerin (feels wonderful!). They cleanse your hands and leave them feeling soft, moisturized, and delicately scented.
The Grapefruit and Rhubarb smells soooo pretty. It’s the one I use in my kitchen. I told my husband that I wish there was a hand lotion that smelled just like it, and guess what? My wish has come true! I just ordered the Grapefruit and Rhubarb Hand Lotion! I’m so excited! The Fruits and Passion Cucina Hand Lotions with Olive Oil will be arriving on my Avon website in C/16 (July 8th). I’ll be sure to share a pic here and let you know how it is once my bottle arrives.
Check out what it says: With premium scents inspired by Italian traditions, experience your ideal Mediterranean getaway while you soften your hands. Yes, please, and thank you!
