Can you believe I got this beauty for $17.49? It’s so pretty.

Boussivie Jewelry Brand is an LG Trademark, and the jewelries and watches are sold by Avon. The name Boussivie originates from the French words boussole, meaning compass, and vie, meaning life, which captures the spirit of Avon’s heritage and bridges the past with the future.

I thought that was a really cool insight into the brand origins.

And I think it’s really cool that I now have my own Rhinestone Boussivie watch that is really gorgeous, and I cannot believe I got it at half price. This was originally listed for $34.99, and I came across it in Avon’s Good Buys as I was looking around, and it was/is $17.49. They are still listed as of today, but this watch is now a Final Sale item, so once it’s sold out, that’s it. Avon turns over their jewelry and watch inventory frequently, so there are always awesome deals in the Good Buys Section, and there are always fabulous new jewelries and watches in the Jewelry Section.

As you can see, Avon’s watches and jewelry all arrived nicely boxed.

Avon sent me a sample of this lovely Veilment Natural Spa Black Rose Body Scrub and Cleanser a while back and I really loved it. I tend to stay away from anything “Rose” aroma because it’s not really my favorite, but since they kindly sent me a sample I did give it a try, and Yay! it smells really, really pretty. Not a typical harsh on your nose “Rose” scent, but rather, a much milder, very pretty aroma. And it’s just enough scent to leave my skin with a slight hint of the gorgeous aroma.

This Black Rose Body Scrub leaves my skin feeling really beautiful. As I’ve stated in previous posts, my skin has been quite dry lately. Exfoliating on a regular basis is very helpful to rid skin of dead skin cells and allow moisture to re-enter. Plus it makes my skin feel very smooth. This is not for the face, mind you, but for the rest of your body.

The Veilment Natural Spa Black Rose Body Scrub and Cleanser is listed for $12.99 (reg. $15.00), and comes nicely boxed, so it’s a great gift idea as well.

This powder is so gorgeous. It’s very delicate and buildable. With a light dusting on your cheeks, neck, or décolleté, you can add a very slight hint of radiance, or build it up to your desirable glow.

And another super thing about this Illuminating Powder is that it is now in the Avon Good Buys Section, which means it is on Final Sale for $6.00. Well, I say super thing. I hate to see these go, but that’s how it is with Limited Edition specialty items. They are usually seasonal and not in Avon’s regular line-up. These little powder puff cuties were released at Christmas-time, so I was really happy to find them still available till they sell out completely.

There are still 3 shades to choose from: Charm, Champagne, and Bonjour. I sure hope you snag yourself one of these. They are so feminine with a vintage look, and are so fun to apply with the powder puff.

I’ve been wanting them to do so for some time now, so yeah, I am super stoked! In Campaign 13 there is a fmg Colors of LOVE Summer Eyeshadow Palette arriving. It is a Limited Edition item filled with gorgeous shades. And in Campaign 14 comes the arrival of new fmg Glimmer Eyeshadow Quads, which look to me to be their new Eyeshadow staples, and there are 10 new Palettes from which to choose. I plan to purchase at least one of these new Palettes to try out, so I’ll be sharing all the details on these very soon. There are also new Glimmer Gel Liners and Eyeshadows arriving in Campaign 14, so be sure to stick around for all the excitement coming up!

Valentine’s Gifts and Goodies from Avon

Happy Valentine’s Day goodies to you! It’s time to spread extra love! Don’t you just adore February? It always makes me think of Red. I suppose it’s because of Valentine’s Day, but this time of year is when I’m really in the mood to wear Red. Both January and February actually.

And speaking of Reds, I fell in love with Avon’s new fmg True Love Multi Palette as soon as I saw it. It’s so cute, and the colors are so pretty. It has 4 sparkly shades of Rose that you can put on your eyes and cheeks to create gorgeous looks. The very light one is a great highlighter too.
