See, not so scary! And upon using this, my skin feels really good. Nice and clean, and smooth. Great exfoliation. Just rub it gently in circular motions on your face and then rinse well with water. Keep away from your eyes.

So, basically, you exfoliate your skin and then apply the serum. It’s very easy to do, and does not take a lot of time to do something so awesome for your skin. I follow this up now with a new moisturizing lotion that I also received in my Swag Bag. I will blog about that soon. It is also very fabulous and feels like I’m applying silk to my face. I still use my very favorite one too, but the new one may be winning out. We’ll see. It doesn’t look luxe in it’s tube, but it sure feels very luxe. You’ll see what I mean.

Before and After – Anew Charcoal Mask Date Night

Hey Everyone! It’s me, Jfay, if you don’t recognize me!

I thought I’d give the new Anew Neutralize Anti-Pollution Charcoal Mask a try-out last night. My skin has been feeling a bit irritated as of late, and when I read that this mask is very soothing to irritated skin, I knew this was for me. This is so awesome, it’s a mask in a stick. It’s formulated with charcoal and kaolin clay. It glides on so smoothly and easily. No need to dampen your skin. Just begin with a clean dry face, then smooth this on wherever you think you need it. This is very cooling going on – it’s really nice. And also a lot of fun!

You just simply let it sit for about 10 minutes and then you’re ready to rinse. I used a soft wash cloth to take it off. It was a white cloth, but not to worry, it all washed out with soap and water. My skin felt sooooo good afterward. So cool and refreshed. I was truly amazed. My skin felt revitalized. It’s like a mini spa treatment. The charcoal and kaolin clay absorb toxins, oil and impurities.

Here are the 2 Anti-Pollution products that I’ve tried. The Charcoal Mask Stick, and I also received a sample size of the Anti-Pollution Serum. You use this before your moisturizer. That’s so fabulous! And this line is so fabulous!

And now I am feeling awesome and ready to head out for my date night with Hunky Hubby. And of course I am wearing all my favorite Avon makeup products.

For my foundation I absolutely love Avon’s Flawless Cream-To-Powder Foundation. My shade of choice is Creamy Natural. I need to order more actually, and it’s on special right now for $9.99 (regular price $14.00). It comes in a nice mirrored compact and has it’s own applicator sponge.

I also love using Avon’s Flawless Mattifying Powder. It is lighter than the powders I used to use, so it gives me a more youthful finish – Not too heavy and powdery.

And you cannot go wrong with Avon’s True Color Luminous Blush. The color I’m wearing is Rose Luster. This also comes in a nice mirrored compact, as does the Mattifying Powder. And these products are both on special right now too.

And I just got a new Eyeshadow palette called Steel Blues. I really love it. You can see I’ve also used it for my eyeliner. The applicator is great and has an end that you can use for lining. This selection is a multi-finish quad and is also on special. A great time to get all your makeup basics, hey?

I finished my eye look with my very favorite Mascara – Love at First Lash! This mascara is terrific. It is formulated with Vitamins A, C and E to condition your lashes, plus olive oil and lycopene to strengthen lashes. And it goes on great. 2 applications and my lashes are looking stand-out great! Easy to wash off too – I love that.

Then for my lips — I lined and filled in with my favorite Pomegranate Glimmersticks Lip Liner and then tried a new True Color Nourishing Lipstick Sample I have called Candy Red. I usually go for Plums, but I really like this Red. I think I can wear this one very well. That’s why I love Avon’s Lipstick Samples so much – I can try colors I may not usually try in full size.

And that’s it! From a revitalizing charcoal mask to a finished makeup look, quick, easy, and fun, all thanks to the fabulousness of Avon. Then out the door for a fun night out with my sweet Coyote Willie. I enjoyed my favorite bacon burger, Willie had chicken fajitas, and we both enjoyed a cold beer – Hooray!

Happy Friends and Customers Make Me Happy!

Hello Friends and Customers! Well, I should say that I consider all my customers as my friends. So therefore I am always truly happy when you are happy.

Yesterday I received a wonderful email from one of my friends, Beth. Now, Beth has been a friend for quite a while now. We were Etsy buddies and Etsy teammates for several years. She creates the most beautiful greeting cards, custom made too. Her company name is Pretty Bird Designs. I have several very sentimental keepsakes made by her. She’s awesome, and says she will be back taking orders for the holidays. I’ll have to keep you updated on that.

Okay – Let’s talk new perfume. I’m also very excited about this one. I told you a bit about Live Out Loud in a previous post, but I thought I’d go more in depth now and tell you all about it, how it was inspired, where it was created, and by whom.

Live Out Loud (I love the name) was designed by noted perfumers from the prestigious fragrance house Firmenich in Switzerland. Here are the inspirations behind this fragrance, in the perfumers’ own words.

The inspiration for this fragrance came from our desire to create something addictive with a point of view — something just right for the woman who knows what she wants and is a force to be reckoned with.
