They say it’s not nice to show off, but when I’m showing off something that you can also get for yourself, I suppose it’s alright. What do you think?

Well, I’m going to show you anyway! Haha! You probably know by now that I’m a stinker.

I’ve recently become obsessed with pins (or brooches). I’ve never really worn them a lot before. My Mom used to wear pins and brooches all the time. I actually have one that she gave me, probably from the 1950’s or 60’s. I remember it from my childhood. It was one of her favorites.

But anyway… I also love stars, so when I saw this Iconic Pin that Avon introduced as part of their 134th Anniversary/Christmas celebration jewelry lineup, I knew that I must have one.

It is so pretty. The pictures I took do not do it enough justice. It’s really shiny.

Avon’s 134th Birthday Means Vintage Inspired Beauties for Us to Enjoy

Wow! Can you believe it? Avon is turning 134 years old. Now, that’s a beauty legacy worth celebrating.

And they are. And we get to enjoy every bit of it.

To celebrate 134 years of beauty, Avon has released a special collection of vintage inspired beauty products and jewelry items called Iconic Avon. There are some real gems in this collection, so I knew you’d want to see. I picked a few of my favorites to share.

Let’s begin with the Iconic Far Away Eau de Parfum. Look how beautiful this bottle is.

You know this is going to be a collector’s item. I love the dramatic black vintage style bottle with the gold wording, and I love the scent. It smells so beautiful.

Here’s another fun one for you. How about a bottle of Iconic Elastine Perfume Hair Serum? I’ve not seen this product before, but it sounds fabulous. Look at the gorgeous bottle with it’s gem-topped lid.

There are 3 different formulas. This one is Amethyst. You rub this serum through your damp hair. Here’s Avon’s description:

TO USE

So – it has a pearly effect? That is awesome! I may need to try this on my silvers to make them really shine. How fun!
