I wanted to share Avon’s newest addition to their Cucina Essentials line, the new and oh so lovely, Dish Soaps.

I had fun over the weekend playing a guessing game with my friends. I posted this picture and asked what they thought was in the box.

I told them that this was something that I’d never in my life received nicely boxed. And that is exactly the truth!

Well, no one could guess it, although someone did come pretty close. They guessed Hand Soap, which the Cucina Hand Soaps also arrive nicely boxed.

The Cucina line uses natural ingredients, and scents that are inspired by the Mediterranean. The Dish Soap Line has 2 scents to choose from, Garden Basil and Lemon Verbena.

As you can see, I purchased the Garden Basil, and it smells really good. Just like fresh basil from the garden! The soap itself is clear – the bottle is tinted green. This will give you a safe and natural clean for your dishes.

The Hand Soap I use is Cucina Fruits and Passion Grapefruit and Rhubarb.

I loved the aroma of this so much (It’s so luxe), that I was hoping there would be a lotion in the same scent, and then there was!

I’m very happy to now have one product from each of the Cucina lines to make a complete set, and I look forward to trying all the scents/varieties. Although, it’s going to be hard to tear me away from my Grapefruit and Rhubarb. Omg…

The Dish Soaps just became available and I’ve ordered the Garden Basil variety. I’ll let you know how it is when I receive it, but the lotion is great. It is not greasy at all and smooths into my hands very easily. And of course I love the aroma, it’s very luxurious. It smells just like the Hand Soap that I’ve been loving so much. I truly feel pampered with these simply little luxuries that mean so much, especially when you’re washing your hands a lot. Which, I will tell you that the Hand Soap is wonderful having the Olive Oil in it. It helps keep my hands from drying out too much, and then with the moisturizing of the matching Hand Lotion, super luxe.

Cucina (Kitchen) Luxury Hand Soap with Olive Oil

Happy Monday everyone! What’s new and happening with you? I can tell you that there is definitely a whole lotta new and happening going on over here in Avon Land. It’s all so exciting, and tomorrow is Campaign 4 launch day, with even more new goodness. My head is spinning! But in a good way.

One thing I can tell you about the new items being released by Avon, is that they are definitely more luxe, and this is intentional. With our new CEO at the helm, Avon is going in a new, upward, and definitely trend-making trajectory.

So, the newest and truly “luxe” item that caught my eye was the Fruits and Passion Cucina Hand Soap. I knew immediately that this was for me. I am a foodie and a home cook – I wash my hands a LOT, and my hands pay for this fact with dryness (and I do have my favorite Avon hand cream for that), but it is nice to have a moisturizing hand soap to help prevent the dryness in the first place, right?

Well, this new luxe hand soap line from Avon is just the ticket. It is a gentle, (also biodegradable), natural ingredient, plant-derived formula, which includes olive oil and glycerin, both of which are greatly touted for being super moisturizing.

**Cucina Hand Soaps made with Olive Oil**

There are 3 formulations to choose from: Grapefruit and Rhubarb (pink soap) – that’s the one I chose to try – it smells sooooo good. I definitely get the grapefruit notes. Not over-powering, just really, really nice, which is another intentional factor of this luxury hand soap, it is exquisitely scented. There is Sea Salt and Amalfi Lemon (white soap), and then also the Coriander and Olive Oil (green soap).

I love the packaging of this soap as well. Cucina means kitchen in Italian, and these bottles and the ingredients definitely lend to an Italian kitchen feel. So in essence, these cuties look fabulous, feel fabulous on your hands, and smell fabulous.

As you saw from my first picture posted, these hand soaps arrive in a nice white box that says Avon. I think these hand soaps would actually make wonderful gift ideas. I was thinking like a thoughtful gift for your Mom, your Sister, a co-worker, or a teacher, or anyone really. Your bestie would probably love receiving a luxe hand soap, I know I would! Ohhh — How about your cheffy guy friends, and don’t forget to treat yourself as well. These look so pretty in the kitchen.

I’m hoping to post more this week than the last several weeks. I’ve been a bit distracted with the holidays and my birthday – Yay! Very fun distractions, but my brain has been on wanting to get back over here and share all this fun stuffs with all of you.

I celebrated my 55th birthday on January 14th – oh hey! It definitely feels like a marker birthday. It seems like I was just celebrating my 50th, and that was quite a lot to take in, and now I am over 50, and actually really enjoying this stage of my life, being an empty-nester and just following my passions and joys in life. Man Alive! I’m 55! Yay! Haha! I couldn’t resist a bit of comedy for this. My sweet hubby surprised me with some gorgeous tulips and an all day shopping spree day together and also dinner out. I told you I was enjoying this stage of my life!
