Pamper Your Dry Feet with Foot Works by Avon

Hey gang! Do you love taking great care of your feet? I know I do, and it’s become even more important to me now during menopause.

As I stated in my post yesterday, I’ve been experiencing much dryer skin lately, and I really have to stay on top of the issue.

I’ve been using Foot Works by Avon for quite some time now and really enjoy how these creams moisturize and help my feet. The two I’m using right now are the Maximum Strength Cracked Heel Cream, and the Intensive Moisture Foot Cream. I know I’ve blogged about each of these foot creams in the past, but you know me, when I really love something I like to share again for those who may not have seen previous posts.

The Maximum Strength Cracked Heel Cream is wonderful to have around because it has an external analgesic and also provides a First Aid antiseptic. If your heels are cracked then this will help prevent infection and help with the pain. If not, then yay, and it will help prevent that issue. I’ve luckily not had my heels crack, but when they’re really dry they can be a bit painful, so this does help. I’ve also used this cream on other parts of my body when I’ve had a really itchy patch flare up, and this eases the issue and takes it away right away. So, definitely a great cream to have around. I order this cream just about every time I place an Avon order, so, yeah, it is a must-have item for me.

This lotion has a child-proof top since it is medicated. The tube is 2.5 fl. oz and is listed for $5.29. Here is Avon’s official description:

Transform the look and feel of dry, cracked heels. 2.5 fl. oz

BENEFITS
• 24+ hours of moisturization
• Provides up to 2X skin’s moisture
• Helps to soften calluses
• Fragrance-free, phthalate-free, sulfate-free

TO USE
Clean the affected area. Apply a small amount on the affected area 1-3 times daily. Cover with a sterile bandage if needed.

Next, let’s talk about Avon Foot Works Intensive Moisture Foot Cream.

This foot cream is very comforting as well. It is a thicker and creamier lotion. It is formulated for diabetics, so if you fall into that category, you may want to give this one a try. I’m using this intensive cream due to the extra dryness of my skin right now. This one has a light peppermint aroma so it’s also refreshing. This tube is 2.5 fl oz, and is listed for $4.49.

I’ve actually been blending the two of these together (this and the Cracked Heel Cream) before applying to my feet and then putting on little socks to keep the moisture in. It’s a great way to treat myself in the evenings and really makes me feel better because my feet feel so much better.

Here is Avon’s official description of this Intensive Moisture Foot Cream:

This intensive foot cream featuring Hydra6X Complex delivers gentle and effective moisturizing needed for dry feet common to diabetics. 2.5 fl. oz.

The past few evenings I also tried putting my Skin So Soft Supreme Nourishment Coconut Body Souffle’ in my foot cream blend since it is enriched with Coconut Oil and makes the skin on the rest of my body feel really moisturized, and yeah, it helps too. You should give it a try.

Coconut Oil Body Souffle' and Olive Oil + Coconut Oil Bath Bar from Avon
Avon’s Skin So Soft Supreme Nourishment Body Souffle’

And of course bathing with the Veilment Care Moisturizing Bar Soap with Olive Oil and Coconut Oil beforehand helps with my dry skin too. You can read yesterday’s blog post to get all the info on these two moisturizing wonders.

For even more moisturizing power, I drop a dab of virgin coconut oil into my bath water (tepid temp. is best for dry and sensitive skin according to my dermatologist).

I try to be very mindful of everything that I do to, or put onto my skin now since this extra skin dryness has become a real “issue”, and I am very happy to share with you what I’ve found that actually works for me. I also have very sensitive skin, so I have to be mindful of products for this issue as well. The body souffle’ cream and the bar soap are lightly scented, but my skin has been just fine with that. I normally use unscented products, but these 2 coconut oil products have not been irritating thus far. If you have very sensitive skin, you may want to keep that in mind. Avon also has a fabulous new line of skin moisturizers called Physiogel that you may want to check out. This line is made for dry, sensitive skin. I use Physiogel products for my face, and they also have a body lotion.

If you’re experiencing other issues with your feet, Avon has a great line-up of Foot Works products for just about everything. There is an Overnight Renewing Cream, Lavender Softening Balm, Intensive Callus Cream, Arthritis Achy Foot & Muscle Cream, there are Pedicure Kits and Tools, and more. Here is a link to Avon’s full Foot Works line-up.

I hope you enjoyed today’s foot-care blog post and that you’re able to find the perfect product(s) for your foot needs. Happy feet make a happy me, and I’m sure it goes the same for you.

Take care, and take care of your feet!

Avon Beauty Essentials Plus Beautiful (and Hygienic) Packaging

Good day everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying getting ready for the Holidays.

And when getting prepped for the Holidays, it’s always great to have all our favorite beauty essentials stocked and on hand. And in talking beauty essentials today, I also wanted to talk about something that is always important to me when I shop for beauty products, and that is great packaging – both in attractiveness and hygiene.

One thing that has struck a cord with me many times as I receive my Avon products, is their packaging. I am always impressed. Whether it’s my makeup products, skincare, or even oral care, everything is very nicely packaged, and I’ll add that 95% of the products I’ve received (that would be nice to have sealed) are hygienically sealed (Jewelry items are always nicely boxed too). Plus – I know that they were not sitting on a store shelf where anyone could decide to open the product and give it a try. That’s always a huge plus with me. My product is delivered direct to me, fresh and new.

Some of my favorite Avon essentials are their lotions – oh man, I have to have my foot lotion – it is so awesome. And I use several of their hand lotions. Hand lotion is always important to me this time of year. And bubble bath — have you tried their bubble bath? (Pssstt…. They’re on special 2 for $13 right now!) My favorite is the Avon Senses Vanilla Cream, it has a nice light Vanilla aroma and is very comforting on these chilly nights. I also love their Avon Senses Silky Vanilla Body Spray (not pictured here).

And look-see — these Avon lotions are sealed under the caps – Hooray!

Even my bubble bath – sealed up tight.

The new Avon Whitening Essentials Toothbrushes and Toothpaste — all sealed. The toothpaste is sealed under the cap, plus the outside of the box has a tight tape seal.

These toothbrushes are my new essential “go-to’s” for oral care. The bristle head is longer than the normal toothbrush – it covers 5 teeth with 1 stroke. These are amazing, and I love using my pink Original brush with the soft bristles. It is very comforting as well as provides very good brushing coverage. (And it’s on special for $4.50)

And of course my Avon makeup essentials. I do not go anywhere without wearing my Avon makeup. From my favorite foundation – eyeshadows (check out yesterday’s blog post – you’ve gotta see the new Oh What Fun Makeup Mega Palette!) – eyeliners – mascara – lip liner to lipsticks. And yep – you guessed it – they all arrive nicely packaged. The lipsticks, liners and mascaras all have a protective plastic seal around them. My foundation arrives in a nice box, and the mirrored compact has a hidden compartment up under the makeup area where there is a very nice applicator pad. The eyeshadows also arrive in a nice box and the compacts are all mirrored. And again, these are all fresh, new products shipped directly to me, and have not been out on a shelf being handled.

I hope you get stocked up for the Holiday Season with all your favorite Avon beauty essentials, plus they’re nice to share as well.

Be sure to stay tuned for my upcoming blog posts. It’s all so exciting. Avon has passed word along about their Black Friday fun coming up. They’ll be kicking things off this Sunday – November 24 (through November 30) with:

  • Free shipping on all $20+ orders
  • 20% off and free shipping on all $45+ orders
  • A complimentary 7-piece gift set, 20% off and free shipping on all $65+ orders

Woo Hoo!! I’ll get the codes to you when they’re announced.

Okay gang, till next time, stay fabulous and always follow your joy!
