I think this may be my favorite Avon Brochure cover yet. I love the Christmas in Paris theme this year. It’s just what we need to lift our spirits.

So, come on, step inside the C.24 Brochure with me for a look at our Parisian Holiday!

Avon’s Paris themed Christmas is a collection of chic limited-edition goodies full of vintage charm and romance, like Dreamlife Cologne, bottled in a very unique Eiffel Tower spray bottle. The perfume itself is a magical blend of mimosa flower, aspirational rose, and glowing amber. It arrives in a Parisian-themed gift box. How special would this be to give as a gift this year? And you know that this is going to be a collector’s item. So fun!

Say hello to Yvette. Isn’t she gorgeous?

You will find Yvette sitting pretty on Page 8 of the C.24 Brochure. She is filled with a fruity floral bubble bath. I love these vintage cat bubble bath decanters and am so happy to see them (well, her) make a come-back. I remember these from my childhood. Brings back really warm memories. Just imagine how she’ll warm someone else’s heart this year.

Avon has released another collection of Iconic Jewelry for Christmas this year. This collection truly has a romantic vintage look and feel. I am definitely eyeballing the Starburst Pin. I think it is going to be my “must-have” item this year. I have really been enjoying wearing brooches again, they’ve seemed to have made a come-back, at least in my heart.

Let’s see, how about some Christmas home decor to swoop you away to France?

I love that they’re calling it Bonjour Decor. It’s so beautiful and luminous. I think my favorite may be the Light-Up Cutout Star. How about you? Which is grabbing at your heart-strings? You can shop the entire collection on pages 16-17.

And my last, but not least, favorite pick from this Parisian excursion of holiday joy, is some makeup, of course! We’re backing it up to Pages 6-7.

Vive Le Makeup! On Page 6 you’ll see the City of Light Illumiator Powders. These little containers are so cute and so fun to use. I got one last year from that season’s style, and I really love it. The little powder puff is adorable and so soft. Very easy to apply color to your cheeks with the fluffy puff, and it’s just different and very feminine. This year’s collection of illuminating powders are delicate and illuminating. They add a lasting touch of radiance to your face and neck areas. The color choices are Charm, Bonjour, and Champagne.

Magix Dust 100% Pure Mineral Finishing Powder from Avon

Hey everyone! How are you doing? Ready for something amazing?

How’d you like a little makeup magic (or Magix) in your life? I’m talking Magix Dust Finishing Powder magic. This stuff is really really cool. Magix Dust is Avon’s newest addition to their Magix line, and I am loving it!

Get this — Magix Dust is made from a 100% pure mineral powder blend of micro-milled rose quartz, rubies, tourmaline and pearls. And that’s just what it looks like on — Pearlesque — It is so pretty. It is subtle, but noticeable. And definitely not overdone. I do not feel like I look like a glitter queen, but rather, radiant and glowy. Magix Dust sets makeup, diffuses light, visibly blurs pores, controls shine (zero flashback when taking pics), and blends effortlessly.

The Magix Dust formula also contains antioxidant green tea extract to enhance and smooth skin. It is talc, oil, and paraben-free. It is very light and gorgeous.

I paired it with my Avon Blushing Beauty Powder Blush that I showed you in my Mother’s Day post.

The Blushing Beauty Powder is so wonderful. It also has a nice sheen and is so lovely to apply with the little powder puff. Steel Blues and Holiday Dream in Color Eyeshadow Palette Sneak Preview

**Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad Steel Blues**

Hello everyone!

Let’s talk eyeshadows today!

I love trying different colors, although my default setting is usually plums (like my lipstick choices), but I do enjoy a pop of blue, so I decided to get the Avon True Color Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Quad in Steel Blues and give it a try.

I really like this palette. The tones go really well with my dark brown eyes. Number 1 is a nice Cream color, very neutral, so a great coverage right under the brow area. Number 2 is a really pretty silvery blue’ish gray. It’s a shimmery look. Number 3 is a medium gray, and Number 4 is a dark navy blue color.

Here are Avon’s How-To Instructions for application, by number:

TO USE
• Lightest shade (1) goes on the brow bone
• Accent shade (2) goes in the inner corner
• Medium shade (3) goes in the outer corner
• Darkest shade (4) goes on the lash lines

And here I am wearing my Steel Blues Eyeshadow. I used the Number 4 dark navy color as an eyeliner. One side of the applicator has a pointy tip, so it’s very easy to line with. I do also wear eyeliners, but this color has a great stand-out pop of color on its own, as you can see. I used the Number 1 cream color right under my brow, and actually all the way down to my lid, then the Number 2 silvery shimmer color in my mid-eye area and the Number 4 navy to line and also bring out the edges of my eye lid area and then blended upward with the silvery color. I didn’t use the Number 3 gray color with this look, but I’ll most likely use it when I go for a more plum-type palette. Since I was wearing black and white, I wanted to stick with the navy and silvery tones.

It’s fun to mix and match between the Avon Eyeshadow palettes. Sometimes I stay within one color palette, and sometimes I mix in between several. It just depends on the colors I’m wearing and my mood. How about you?

It’s getting so exciting – as if things have not been exciting enough in Avon Land, but I’m already receiving glimpses of holiday goodness that is soon coming our way. Hooray!!

I’ll go into more detail about it all soon, but I thought I’d share the Limited Edition Dream in Color Eye Palette with you on today’s eyeshadow themed post.
