Hey everyone! Happy weekend vibes!

I’ve been telling you about Avon’s new Virtual Makeover Tool and how to use it, so I thought I’d play around with it again and show you how it looks/works from my phone.

**Trying on the new FMG Ink High-Gloss Lip Lacquer in Red Symphony**

It really is very easy to use – and super fun. You can see that I was trying on some Glimmershadow Liquid Eyeshadow and some of the new FMG Ink High-Gloss Lip Lacquer shades. I did this right over makeup that I had on, so yeah, it’s really impressive, and looks pretty realistic to me, especially the lipstick. You would think that I was actually wearing these shades of lipsticks in my pics, but take a look at the first one where I’m trying on the Glimmerstick Eyeshadow and you’ll see the shade of lipstick I was actually wearing. More of a neutral tone.

The Virtual Makeover Tool covered up my actual lipstick really great and came through brilliantly with the shades I was wanting to try. I do advise, however, that you may want to try this with no lipstick or eyeshadow on, but as you can see, you can try on makeup from anywhere and at anytime. Just think how handy this will be when you’re trying on a new outfit. You can find the perfect makeup shades to go with your new outfit! Awesome!

Just look for the Try It On Button when you’re browsing my Avon website, or go directly to the Digital Catalog Page and scroll down to the Virtual Makeover Tool and the Shade Finder Tool.

When you see the Try It On Button on a makeup item, just click it and it will bring up your camera. It will show you the different shades to try on. You just click on the shade you’d like to try – hold still a moment – it will position the makeup color for you to see. You can click on the little camera icon to take a picture of yourself. It will give you a countdown clock from 3 -2 -1 to pose. You can then download the picture to your phone!

Try on as many makeup shades as you’d like of each product, and see how fabulous you look in each color!

The Sateen Glimmershadows are available in 6 everyday neutral shades: Sunstone, Moonstone (I’ve ordered this one), Pink Sapphire, Citrine, Jasper, and Tiger’s Eye.

Anytime you see this button that says “Try it on”,

You can try it on! Just choose the shade you’d like to try on and click the button from your phone or computer and it will bring you up on the screen – in real-time virtual video and it will position the eyeshadow right on your eyelids. It’s so cool! And it looks very real. I love using this makeover tool. I’ve used it with and without eyeshadow on, and it definitely works best without eyeshadow already on your eyes, but if you have some on, the darker shades will show up better than the lighter ones.

You can try on all the shades and even download pictures of yourself wearing each shade. Then you’ll know which are your faves – yay!

Try on Lipstick Colors Virtually from Your Phone!

Question: How do I find my perfect lipstick shade? Answer: Avon’s online Virtual Makeover Tool. Yes, that’s what I said — You can try on lipstick right from your computer or phone! No need to go to a makeup counter, or have tons of lipstick shades in front of you to wipe off and try on another. Avon now has an online Virtual Makeover Tool for that! And it looks very real. Here I am giving it a try:

I tried on all kinds of lipstick shades. And I did so over lipstick I was already wearing. I posted a blog a few days ago with me trying the new Virtual Makeover Tool not wearing any lipstick or eyeshadow, and it worked very well. This time I thought I’d give it a try wearing full makeup.

The lipstick Makeover Tool worked very well except for lighter shades – that’s because I was already wearing Dragonfruit lipstick, so overall I think it did a great job in covering up the shade I was already wearing and replacing it with the virtual lipstick colors. What do you think?

Here’s how my lipstick looked originally:

Yeah! I’d say it did a great job!

Now, for the eyeshadow, I would definitely recommend not wearing any or at least very light eyeshadow when trying them on virtually. The only one that would work over my very dark eyeshadow that I already had on was the bright blue. And of course to find your perfect foundation or eyebrow pencil shade, definitely go all natural.

The online Virtual Makeover Tool is really easy to use. Here’s what you do:

Follow this link. This will take you to my Avon website’s page titled: Get a Virtual Make Over.
Choose which makeup item you’d like to try on. There are products for your lips, eyes, and face.
Click on the product to bring it up. Then click the button that says “Try it On”.
Once you do that, you’ll have to give permission for it to use your computer or phone’s camera.
A live video of you will come up – It’s so fun!
Click on the color/shade of your chosen product that you’d like to try on.
The camera will find the spot where the product needs to go and you will see the product color right there on your gorgeous face in real time.
You can take a picture of yourself wearing a particular shade (like I did). There is a little camera icon on the screen with you when you’re live trying on the makeup colors. Click that. It will show you a countdown 3-2-1 and then take your picture. Make sure to click the “Download” button right next to the camera icon to save it to your phone.
You can take a picture of yourself in every shade that you want to and compare and see which are your favorites.
You can share your pics on IG using the Hashtag #jfaysbeautyblog for a chance to be featured here on Jfay’s Beauty Blog.

Trying on Makeup with Avon’s new Makeover Tool

Hey! Look who had some fun today!

It’s me – trying on makeup using the new Makeover Tool from Avon.

This was really cool, and really fun.

I only wore base makeup to do this so that I could see the different lipstick and eyeshadow colors on my face.

Here’s a close-up for you to see the lipstick really good.

This was all live and interactive. I thought I would need to take a pic and upload it, but it was live video, real time. Look how well the lipstick sits right on my lips. You can even see the shimmer. This was the Glimmerkiss Liquid Lipstick, and you can see how the real product is going to look when you wear it – gloss and glimmer and all. So awesome!

Now I’m trying on some Glimmershadow in Silver. I thought perhaps I may be too fair for the Silver to show up, but hey, I think I really like it!

**Trying on Makeup Virtually with Avon’s New Makeover Tool**

The Makeover Tool will tell you the name of the shade(s) you’re trying on. And see, I have no lipstick on – the pictures with me with lipstick are all virtual reality, and it looks so real. Here’s a lipstick pic with a more pink tone:

I really like the brighter reds and pinks on me. I tried on all kinds of colors. This was so fun. After seeing my pics, my husband really liked the sparkly Ruby Glimmerkiss Liquid Lipstick on me. I did too.

It’s really cool when you visit the Virtual Makeover Page – You can find it Here. You click on a product that you’d like to try. Then you click Try It On. You will need to give permission for it to take pics on your phone or computer.

Once you see yourself on the live video screen, you can click on the different colors you’d like to try, one at a time. Each color will appear where it’s supposed to – on your eyes or lips or face (if you’re trying foundation tones). Give it a moment to appear and then you’ll see a little camera icon – You can click on that to take your picture with that particular shade or color on. It will show you a countdown clock 3-2-1 and then take your photo. You then click to download the picture onto your phone or computer. This works from both your phone and computer cameras. I used my phone outside as you can see. The lighting was great outdoors for this.
