I wanted to be sure and post this notice from Avon today. This is a weird state of events going on right now, to say the least. But Avon is on top of things, as usual, and is making sure that product produced and received by all is safe, which in turn is causing a delay with some product. But hey, that’s okay — Better safe, right? Here’s Avon’s official statement on the Coronavirus situation:
Due to the global impact of coronavirus, we are experiencing delays with a number of our products.
We thank you for your understanding and patience. All manufacturers of products distributed by Avon are compliant with cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices, meaning all personnel involved with manufacturing the product wear appropriate personal protective equipment. In addition, coronavirus is transmitted through close individual contact, and there is no evidence of transmission through handling or usage of personal care products. We are closely monitoring the situation around the world and will adjust our practices accordingly if new information becomes available.
So, you can rest assured that you are receiving safe products from Avon, and hey, you do not have to go out to purchase your personal hygiene products, and no one’s been handling them in a store, so yay! Fresh and sealed and just for you.
Hopefully all of this will pass soon, and we can all get back to business as usual in every way.
